I watch from the window as Hook carries his beloved Emma back to town. Regina gives one last look at the house before turning and following her fellow citizens.
I turn away from the window, angry. They were never supposed to know what happens to Emma, only in the end.
I walk towards my vault and unseal my seal I put on it. I open the picture and type in the code for the vault and pull out the box with the beating heart in it.
I hold it in my hand and breath in, feeling the life being drained from it and into my body. I sigh when I look into the mirror, my posture becoming better, my face becoming clear of wrinkles, and my body becoming full of life. My fave breaks from its pale state, my eyes are full of life.
I feel alive.
