Pack problems

--------------------Alex’s PoV----------------------

 

I waited for Kat to get back to unpause the movie and ate a handful of popcorn.

“Ok, I’m back” she said flopping down next to me.

“Who was it” I asked

“Jehovah's witness” she said starting the movie again.

“On a monday?”

“Yes on a tuesday” she said grabbing the blanket I was covering up with

“Hey, I was using that” I growned out at her looking away from the movie

“Well you're not now” she growled at me, rubbing her temples

“You ok”

“Yeah, they just give me a headache”

“ok, I’m tired. can I go home now” I whine

“No you're staying over”

“why, Jake was going to pick me up for school in the morning” I said waving around as my phone rang. I looked to see it was Jake.

“Hello” I giggle to him

“Hi baby I don’t think I’ll make it to school tomorrow” he said sadly

“Why?!”

“My sister is home and I need to spend time with her before she goes back to college” he said nervously but I ignored it “sorry baby, I’ll see you this weekend, stay with kat” he said

“how did you know I was here”

“I went to your house to tell you, your brother told me you were there”

“ok, I’ll see you later I guess” i said hanging up

------------------------Jacob’s PoV--------------------

 

I paced in my room thinking of what to do, I hate lying to Alex but some times its for the best. This is not an ideal situation. My mate, my pack, a strong close pack, and my family are all in danger. I flop on my bed, I have to get my head on straight, get all the facts in line and figure it out. First off I have an obvious, rare, at risk mate, second a pack that has almost all of the fighters on the borders keeping rogues of my territory, and my  mates father beyond pissed with me. I first need to figure out who is behind all the rogues and go from there. Then my phone rang on my night stand

“Hello” I say without even looking at the caller ID

“Hello Alpha Pup” A deep dangerous voice said over the phone

“who are you” I growled shooting up from the bed

“that is for me to know and you to find out, now the reason I called I just wanted to tell you I will have your mate soon enough, I think you should back off or I may get you and your pack too. I will relentlessly attack till I get my prize” He snickered hanging up

“what does that mean, you will have nothing but judgment when I kill you myself!” I yelled into the disconnected phone. My phone went off again...It was john

“What the h--”

“Valentino” he said cutting me off

“what the fuck are you talking about”

“My brother Valentino, thats who is the brain behind it all” He growled making it obvious he was just as mad as myself

“Why would he want Alex, he’s his nephew”

“Nephew or not he wants power, and he’ll do anything to get it. Rape, murder, cannibalism, anything to get power” He said, and I heard maria whimper

“He won’t get near him, two packs, a protector, plus a pissed mate, dad, and older brother. He won’t get too close.” 

“I wouldn't say that, Alex doesn't know about this obviously and we had Valentino out of his life at 6. He could easily convince Alex to come see him...then attack him” John said solemnly

“I know we should have told him 6 years ago when his powers started to show, not just block them out” came Maria’s cry

“Don’t worry every minute Kat’s not with him I will be and I’ll have fighters close just incase” I assured him

“Fine, fine just....just keep him safe” he said ending the call. I sighed and put the phone down

“I need a run” I mumble to myself walking out the door  I shifted running into the woods, suddenly a sen caught my nose. Why is he here!

-----------------Alex’s PoV----------------

As soon as Kat fell asleep I was out of there. I wanted to sleep in my own bed and listen to my music. I quietly shut the door behind me, and ran off the porch. Its not that far and I have my iPhone for a little noise and it’s a lighted street so there no problems here. I started the 15 minute walk home, then I heard a ruffling sound next to me. I normally wouldn't be scared, but it’s dark out here even with the street lamps. I paused and looked over to see two red eyes glaring at me, and a menacing growl. I automatically took off, I didn’t know what it was and didn’t want to find out. I’m not a stupid white boy in those horror movies, I hear a noise or see something scary I’m NOT going to ‘Investigate’...I’m runnin’. 

I could hear its feet hitting the ground faster and it was getting closer. But you know my luck I trip over my own two feet. My face skated across the blacktop, I could taste the blood run into my mouth from my nose and the rest of my scratched face. I heard panting close I looked up and gasped. I saw I wolf at least 4 feet tall ground to shoulder, black as the shadows, eyes red as the blood covering my face, and bright yellow teeth snarling at me stalking closer. 

I closed my eyes as he was about to pounce, as I couldn't back with my side in the pain it was. I felt nothing but heard a loud yelp, I saw a different wolf..the one from the lake Kat was yelling at. It was equally as black, but with bright green eyes, a small white tip on his ear and bigger. He was on top on the other wolf with his jaw locked tightly around the smaller wolfs neck. The smaller wolf whimpered and screwed my eyes shut and I small yelp then...silents.

I opened my eyes to see the bigger wolf setting in front of me looking, disappointed? But relieved at the same time. I was shaking from the incident, he lowered his head showing he meant no harm and moved closer, I loved wolves so he didn't scare me much. Actually not at all I felt safe, he didn’t seen normal. Most wolves are 60 inches at most and have amber, brown, or black eyes his were a beautiful green color, they seemed so familiar but I couldn’t tell why. I put my hand ou and he got closer and put his cold nose to my bloody hand and sparks flew. I started to run, I dont know why but I ran from him. I ran and ran till I reached my door.

 Hi guys, I get to do state testing till May 5th yay right!? I know its a bit away but I don't know how much I'll write this summer I won't have my laptop so ill have to type on my computer PC and I hate that, but i'll try. Also I know I won't update 3rd week of june I'm going on a mission trip to nashvill with my church. Lastly (Also far away) next year I'm starting highschool and collage. My high school provide free collage if done with high school, so I will be taking advatage of it. Thanks for reading :)
