Loving Luka

----Alex's PoV----

I curled up into Jake's side seeking his body heat. I felt his arms wrap around my waist and his lips on my head. He pulled me closer to his warm chest making Cato and I purr in delight.

"Good morning baby" Jake whispered gruffly in my ear. His morning voice sent shivers down my spine and my face erupted into a blush. I cuddled closer to him hid my face in his chest. I'm 4 weeks into my pregnancy and I have started to get really emotional and sensitive already. I can tell Jake has started to think very carefully about what he says before he says it.

"Morning" I mutter quietly wrapping my arms around his neck. I felt moving at my feet and looked down to see Luka sprawled out at the foot of the bed snoring lightly.

"Jake, when did he get in here" I asked making him look down at the small child sleeping at the foot of the bed.

"I don't know" Jake said yawing. I moved from Jake's arms, and down to our son.

"Luka?" I called shaking his form softly. His eyes squeezed shut before they opened to reveal the beautiful blue orbs. His little hands came up to rub his eyes as he yawned.

"Mornin' daddy" He said grinning up at me tiredly.

"Why are you in here?" I asked him as he climbed into my lap.

"I had a bad dream. There were some mean men here. They were after you, little brother, and uncle Benji, I wanted to make sure you two were ok." He said placing his hand on my still flat stomach.

"No one is going to get daddy or Benji Luke. I promise that" Jake said sitting up and throwing his arm around us.

"He was scary" Luka whimpered as he hugged Jake and I around the neck.

"Nothing will happen to you Luka" I reassured him as Jake rubbed his back calmingly.

"I want to protect daddy and little brother and uncle Benji" Luka said and I felt something wet on my neck. Luka had big tears running down his face. He let out a little hiccup before he started to bawl.

"Luka It's ok, nothing is going to get us" I said kissing his little head.

"Promise?" He asked quietly and held out his pinkie.

I smiled softly and linked out pinkies "I promise". I saw Jake's hand come over our hands.

"I'll protect all of you guys. Your all family, I protect family." Jake said seriously. I smiled up and him and kissed his cheek.

"Do you guys want some breakfast before Luka goes to school?" I asked making Luka groan loudly.

"I don't wanna go to school. I don't know anyone, and that Blake kid is mean" Luka said pouting.

"Luka you gotta to to school. you are learning a lot right now. Stuff you will need all your life, now when you get to middle school--OW!" Jake yelped at I hit him in the ribs.

"We meet in high school, what if he skips out on high school a few days. What if he misses his mate." I said as Jake grumbled rubbing his side.

"Please papa" Luka said giving Jake his best puppy dog eyes. Jake can never resist Luka's puppy dog eyes. I picked Luka up and made him face me.

"No means no. Come on, I'll make breakfast and Jake will help get you dressed and get your bag put together I said as Luka wiggled out of my grasp and trudged into his room with Jake on his heals.

I walked to the kitchen and pulled out the skillet and cracked some eggs and pushed down the toast. Luka and Jake walked out, Luka was dressed and had his little bookbag but he still looked dead on his feet. He got into his seat at the table before he put his head down on the table and closed his eyes.

He got a new teacher, Ms.Frankie. She was the most hated teacher in the school when my dad, Matt, and I went but she loved Matt and I. He already loves her from what he's told me. She always gave me dum-dum suckers in class when bitch face, I mean Ms.collins, made me leave.

"Here you guys go" I said plating the eggs and buttered the toast before taking the plates to the table.

"Thank you, love" Jake said shaking the now asleep Luka.

"Thanks daddy" Luka said jumping up in surprise.

"Of course Luka, and eat up so we can go" I said making him sigh and start to eat his eggs.

"Do you feel ok this morning, baby?" Jake asked with a worried hint to his voice.

"I feel fine Jake" I said as Luka pushed his half empty plate away.

"I'm full. Can we go now?" He said sliding off his chair. Jake stood up but I got up and took Luka's hand.

"Jake you have work to do. I can take him. I'm not handicap I'm just pregnant" I said making Jake scramble after me.

"No, baby just go relax. I can take him" Jake said trying to stop me from leaving.

"Jake, I'm fine." I said kissing his cheek. I pulled away from him and walked down the stairs and got into the truck. Luka buckled himself into the booster seat and we drove off. When we got there Luke was in the school before I could get out of the car. I smiled to myself, but my face fell when I saw a boy glaring at Luka. It was the same boy from the office. I rolled my eyes and pulled out off the parking lot.

It didn't take long before I was making my way back to the apartment. I unlocked the door and stepped in silently so I wouldn't disturb Jake if he was working. I made my way to the bedroom and flopped down on the bed and rolled to his side of the bed taking in his scent and smiling. He has always smelt really good. I felt the bed dip and a warm hand on my waist as tingles erupted from the contact.

"Hello Love" Jake said quietly into my ear nibbling softly on it.

"Shouldn't you be working?" I asked him

"Yeah, but I want to play with my mate" He purred deeply

"What about your work?" I giggled as his nose brushed against my mark making a shock run down my spine and straight to my groin.

"I'll do it later, I have more important things to do. We have a limited amount of time for this, Luka will be home soon." he said snaking his hand up my shirt.

"We have 3 hours Jake" I said wrapping my arms around his neck as he nibbled on my neck.

"Not enough time" He whined licking his mark making heat shoot down to my cock once again.

"Just leave enough time for me to get Luka from school." I said.
