———————Jake's PoV——————-

"Come on tell me!" he whined at me pulling on my arm as everyone talked in the family room. My phone rang loudly, saved by the bell.

"Hello"

"Hi Jake. Do you know where papa and daddy are" Luke asked on the other line. And yes heh did say daddy, sounds like a kid right. Nope he's 19, a year older that me. His daddy, Mason, hates being called dad.

"Yeah, I needed them here Luke" I said as Mason and Mark's heads flew to me. Luke was at his mates house for the week because, well because he does stupid things all the time.

"Where is 'here'" he asked as I heard something fall and an 'oops' in the back ground.

"Kat....." I said sweetly as she glared at me

"No"

"But.."

"No, I have no other bedrooms"

"If Luke is here theres no need for us to be" Mark said standing

"Yeah, and really you would rather have a teen here anyways" Mason said following suit

"I hate all of you" she growled agreeing to let them come over.

"Thanks babe!" Alex said hugging her.

"Get off, loser" she said bring him off of her

"Luke I need you at 104 McPherson drive ok." I said and heard a quick 'Yeah' and some footsteps getting farther away before the phone hung up. guessing he'd running around. Mason and Mark shook hands (more Mark, Mason hugged everyone) before leaving. About 10 minutes later the doorbell rang and kat peeled a ecstatic River off of her, to open the door. There stood Luke, Benji, and Jamie. Kat looked a little confused but hesitantly let them in.

"Hey Luke long time no see" I said hugging him. He look just about as confused as Kat did.

"Yeah..." He said looking around and his eyes landed on Alex.

"Ok lets start from the beginning. Luke you know Alex from high school he was in AP English with you. He is my mate. that is Dylan and her mate Kylie, Kat's friends. That is Kat, this is her house. She is Rivers mate, she is also Alex's protector. Alex is a druid, his psychopathic uncle is trying to kill him. we are all here to protect him." I said pointing at everyone, he waved a little.

"Everyone, this is Luke my 3rd in command. These are his mates Benjamin, we call him Benji, and Jamie." I said pointing at them too.

"Hi" Alex said putting his hand out to Luke.

"Umm...Hello Alpha Alex I—"

"Oh my god, If one more person calls me alpha I will cut off there dick and sew it to their forehead!" Alex raged plopping down on the couch.

"Sorry he hate's that" I said scratching my neck.

"It's ok I get it" he said sitting down on a small couch. He looked so sad as Benji sat on the floor on the other side of the room, keeping his distance from Luke. But I would too if I had to go through all that will my mate, poor thing can't catch a break. Alex looked at me questioningly, I shrugged. Its not really my place to tell him what happened. 

Alex jumps from my lap grabbing two pillows walking over to the silent Benji. He looked up when Alex put a pillow in his face to sit on, instead of the hardwood floor. Benji took it and sat on it as Alex sat in front of him and started a conversation. I look over to see River trying to get kat to sit on his lap or to cuddle with him. Before Benji, Luke, and Jamie showed up she agreed to try being his mate. Luke was holding a now sleeping Jamie and watching Alex and Benji closely. I could see love and regret in his eyes as he looked at his other mate and pulled Jamie close to his chest. Suddenly Alex shot up anger coming from him in waves. He stalked over to Luke and landed a hard punch to his face making his nose bleed. Luke did nothing but look down. He knows exactly what it was for and knows he deserved it.

"How could you do that to—" Benji's hand covers his mouth as he shook from the anger coming from Alex.

"Don't. He knows it was wrong and he beats himself up everyday apologizing every chance he gets. No need to put more gilt on him." Benji said grabbing a tissue and sitting beside Luke before he put it to Luke's nose and tilting his head back. He kissed Luke's head looking down apologetically. Alex huffed walking over to me setting in my lap. A pissed mate, thanks Luke. Fuck your relationship, not mine.

—————-Alex's PoV——————

"He what?!" I fumed whisper yelling as Benji told his story.

"He does a lot to make it better. I don't know how long it will take to get my full trust back, or if he ever will" Benji said sighing in his quiet voice. I couldn't help it, I shot up and walked over to that asshole. You can not do that to your mate. He looked up confused for a second before I punched him square in the face. He deserved that and much more. his nose started to bleed and he hung his head in shame.

"How could you do that to—" I was cut off by benji's small hand covering my mouth.

"Don't. He knows it was wrong and he beats himself up everyday apologizing every chance he gets. No need to put more gilt on him." He said letting go and grabbing a tissue and holding it to Luke's nose, he quickly kiss his head. I really don't see how he stands that. One hes a vampire, two that ass did all that. I would want nothing to do with my mate if that happened. I stomp over to Jake before falling into his lap. I fumed and cuddled up to him. He wouldn't do that, would he?
