“Alex, get up!” someone said jumping on me

 “Just a little longer” i wine cuddling into my blanket

 “Alexxxxxxxx, please” I recognized the voice to be Marcus

 “Marcus, why are you here!” I asked shooting up to see marcus sitting on my legs and Matt standing in the doorway

 “mom and dad had something to do. I got marcus from his house so you two can hang out, and get ready for dinner later” Matt said walking over and picking marcus up from my lap. Marcus is smaller than I am and weighs nothing.

 “so get up I made breakfast” Marcus said and we heard a knock on the door.

 “I’ll get it” Matt said putting marcus down and walking out of the room

 

------------------Matt’s PoV------------------

 

I walked out of Alex’s room and to the family room to open the door. When I did I saw Jacob, the soon to be alpha of the Lumen pack.

 “ummm, hello” I said a bit curious. we talk sometimes but not much, and I can’t think of a reason for his being here.

 “I guess I need to tell you huh” He said scratching the back of his head, and moshing me out side on the porch

 “Tell me..” I said walking out shutting the door

 “don’t hit me” he said...well this can’t be good.

 “ok” i said crossing my arms

 “your little brother--”

 “what did he do this time” I side

 “he didn’t do anything, but I ummm. happen to be matted to him and we have a project for school and-”

 “wait wait wait YOU are mated to my LITTLE BROTHER” I yelled. How the hell can that happen I’m sure dad knows. grate but he doesn't know, even marcus knows about us. How can we tell him we’ve lied to him his entire life.

 “Yes, and I am prepared to tell him but I need to get close to him” he said hanging his head

 “Well my mate is with him now but I guess you can work with him for a bit” I said as the door opened and marcus peeked out.

 “what are you doing” he asked walking out “Alex is almost done eating, who is he” Marcus said walking up behind me.

 “Marcus, this is Jacob he will be an alpha of a close pack soon. Jacob this is Marcus my mate” I introduced

 “hello” marcus said shrinking behind me, he doesn't like football players. Jacob is is the captain of the varsity Football team, all the football team is werewolves or vampires.

 “Can I have Alex for a bit” Jacob asked kindly

 “but”

 “love, it will only be for an hour or two. And Jacob need some time with him, there mates” I said pulling him from behind me.

 “I thought he didn’t know” marcus said clinging to me

 “he doesn't” Jacob said “Its my job to tell him once I get the chance”

 “so youre telling him”

 “no but i will and we need to do school work, ok” Jacob said as I opened the door

  “are you done out th--” Alex stopped and looked at Jacob surprised

I looked at Jacob, why is he here.

 “hello, what do you want” I asked him

 “our project is due wednesday and we have a lot to do” he said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

“but I’m having a fun day with Marcus” said looking at Marcuse for help

 “no school is more important and Marcus and I are going to have some alone time” Matt said as he picked up Marcus and walked upstairs.

 ‘traitor’ i mouthed to him as he laughed

 “What are we doing first” I asked turning to Jacob.

 “I would say spit the work and--”

“ok let me rephrase that… what will I do first cause you'll just fuck it up” I barked out at him

“What makes you think that” He said glaring at me

“You’re a jock, a football captain for one of the bet varsity teams in the nation. I really don't think that you have many brain cell from all the headbutting” I snickered out seeing him slowly take a deep breath calming himself. I learned that you can’t please everyone, but you can pisseveryonr off and thats easy and fun as hell.

“Considering that I have 3.8 GPA and an IQ of 145 I would think I have plenty of brain cells left.” He said calmly

“fine I’ll do the poster and powerpoint, you do the paper I hate writing papers.” i said opening my laptop and opening powerpoint and a google tab. “and just to let you know I have a 4.3 GPA and an IQ of 178.” I say putting in my earbuds finishing the conversation.

I saw him open a google doc and start his paper. ‘damn it he’s smart, hot and i’ve never heard of him cheating or boasting about having sex with everyone.’ really i've never heard of him dating anyone’ I think to myself. Kat has I mental background check on everyone in the school, we half to approve each others boyfriends.

“ALEX!” Jacob yelled waving his hands in front of my face

“What” i say coming from my thoughts

“I’m almost done and you haven't even started” he said smirking

“Good for you” I said. Grate, I don’t get science at all. I have my lowest A in that class I half to actually study for that class unlike all the others.

“here” he said handing me simplified notes. “I have a friend that doesn't understand either, these will help”

“I understand fine!” I said shaking my head

“don’t lie, every one gets lost at some point. You could have an IQ of 200 and still not get something” he said smiling and I took the notebook from him and opened it to start.

After about 10 min Jacob’s phone rang he noden a time or two then hung up.

“I’ll start the speech monday don’t forget my notes, Alex I just want to help” he said kissing my head and ran out the door, I sat there in shock. I need to text Kat.
