The ride home with the newly born twins was by far the most terrifying ride of the new young parents new lives. The new parents held their fragile pups tightly together as Jamie's father drove them home, their wolf's purred their pups asleep. After the nervous agony of that fifteen minute ride Jamie and Elaine sat the pups in their basinets and the newly formed family all collectively passed out for the rest of the day.
Unfortunately though, peace only lasted for what felt like five minuets before they woke to the sound of babies crying and dirty dippers.
The signal to the start of their new life.
As days passed little Ella and Tony turned out to be quite the crying poop machines as with each passing day Elaine and Jamie worked together to change and clean their pups. All the while Elaine fought her gag reflex from the disgusting smells that always served as a effective wake up call.
"This is gonna be our life for a while isn't it." Elaine quipped, wiping her tired eyes as she helped change their pups for the fourth time in so many hours.
"Yeah, but it's worth it. I mean look at them." Jamie smiled, looking into their cute little eyes as he rocked them up and down making little Ella give a sound that sounded like a giggle, melting his heart into mush.
Elaine smiled and lovingly kissed the three most important people in her life on the head as she and her wolf purred happily.
It was definitely worth it.
From then on, with help from Jamie's parents, the young couple found through many mistakes of trial and error how best to take care of their new pups.
All through out the next week and a half they learned that whenever they were asleep it was always little Ella who woke up first crying like she hadn't just seen her parents in years, while little baby Tony wasn't shy about letting any bodily fluids fly out of him from anywhere at any time.
The little pup had already ruined seven of the little clothes they bought him and four pairs of sheets that honestly Jamie was impressed, but every so often though the two of them were just cutest little angels.
They loved being rocked by their daddy but only slept for their mommy.
So despite all the early morning, dirty dippers, vomit stained clothes and constant crying Jamie and Elaine had never been so in love with someone since they had started dating.
It was nice being a team so when school was starting back up and Elaine had to wrestle with the idea of leaving her pups and mate behind to start her collage football career at Washington State.
"But what if I don't want to go." Elaine whined as she bounced little Ella up and down on her lap making the little girl giggle.
"You have to go baby, it's your dream." Jamie smiled as he feed the now bottle trained Tony his milk.
"I know it's just....look at them, they're so fucking cute. How could I leave them." she whined again as Ella chuckled in the way only a baby could.
"Babe, we're really gonna have to work on your language." Jamie teased as little Tony burped, satisfied.
"We'll be fine. I promise, you just go and be the best you can be, ok." Jamie smiled as little Tony looked at his mommy, hands raised asking to be played with like his sister.
Elaine laughed as she grabbed her son and played with her two pups.
The alpha couldn't help the pit that formed in her stomach.
