Waiting near baggage claim Jamie watched as passengers from the different flights flocked down to pick up their luggage.

Excited, he could barley contain himself as he rocked back and forward in front of Elaine who was on her phone texting away.

"You sure are excited." she chuckled.

"Of course I'm excited, Layla's supposed to fly in with grandma! Elaine, you're just gonna love her, she's literally the coolest person I know." he said happily.

"Hey, I take offense to that." Sarah quipped.

"So do I." Elaine agreed grabbing her mate into a crushing hug making him lose his breath.

"Ok, ok I'm sorry, you guys are the coolest! Mercy please! Mercy!" he said out of breath, tapping on Elaine strong thigh, desperate to regain some much needed air.

"And don't you forget it." Elaine  laughed letting him free before a loud excited squeal broke their banter.

"Are those my two favorite great-grandchildren!" a small omega woman said with both arms outstretched.

"Grandma!" Jamie yelled as his parents both showed the small woman Jamie's pups.

Taking her in she was exactly like Elaine had remembered her. A small grey haired, five foot even, white woman that had aged remarkably well despite being in her seventies. Her body while old but didn't look frail as she held her two great-grandchildren in her arms nearly tearing up at the sight of them.

Intrigued by this newcomer the twins pulled at the old woman's shoulder length hair making her yelp in surprise before chuckling in good spirits.

"I can't believe how big they are already! I can't believe you wouldn't let me come and visit after they were born. Do you have any idea how much I wanted to meet my first great-grandchildren!" she said looking to Jamie's parents with a hidden glare.

Martha fought the urge to groan.

"Yes mother, but Jamie and Elaine needed time to adjust and so did everyone else. It wouldn't have been fair to ask you to come during all that chaos." Jamie's father reasoned.

"Maybe so, but two months is far to long. Hench why I'm staying for so long, there is much to catch up on. Like how my son is doing and how my other grandchildren are." she said hugging each of them in turn.

"So how are my grandchildren?" she asked as the group walked towards their cars.

"We're doing just great grandma. My football season just started and we're already 3-0." Max said proudly.

           "Splendid."

"Same here, volleyball just came back into season and me and the girls are already kicking ass. In fact I was named Captain this year." Sarah announced proudly.

"That's wonderful my dear Sarah, I'm sure you're a Captain too then right Maxwell?" she asked looking at the big alpha.

"Actually no...they haven't named me captain yet but.."

"Then you'll just have to work harder then won't you. Can't let your sister out do you now can we." the older woman laughed.

"And what of you Travis?" she asked taking his attention away from his phone.
