It had been a while since Elaine had been to a party. For nine months the alpha girl was so focused on recovering from her car accident and helping Jamie "relax" while he was pregnant with the pups, not to mention she had to finish her last year of high school at Osborn, she didn't have the time nor the want to go to parties.
But god damn did she forget how much fun a good party could be.
The one in question was at the buildings parking lot and was filled with drunk and buzzed freshmen and sophomores alike.
The music choice was a mix of old and new music that had a decent beat to it while the food was your typical wings, chips and dip with a side of a shit load of alcohol.
Elaine thought it felt nice to dress up a little and mingle, but she still couldn't help missing Jamie and the pups no matter how many drink she'd chuck.
"Glad you could make it." the beta girl from the library said passing Elaine another red solo cup.
"Well you did invite us, so it'd be rude to not show." Elaine smiled.
"This is my roommate Taejo, Taejo this is huh....I don't think I actually got a name." she said looking back at the beta.
"It's Trisha, Trisha Steel, but my friends call me Trish." she smiled at the two alphas as she waved to who Elaine assumed where her friends.
"I gotta go but feel free to have anything you like and if there's anything you want don't hesitate to ask." she said padding Elaine's bicep with a wink before leaving them alone as the music continued to blare.
"Will do." Elaine smiled back taking a sip of what she suspected was Stella Artois brand beer a taste that brought a smile to her face.
"Well, I think it's safe to say she likes you." Taejo chuckled as they watched her walk away with a seductive gain to her stride.
"Shut up, she's just being nice." Elaine scoffed taking another sip of her beer.
"Oh yeah? If she's just being friendly then where the hell is my beer huh?" he teased spinning around, arms outstretched.
"Here you go." the two alpha's heard a small omega girl say handing Taejo a cup of his own.
"Oh, thanks." the Asian alpha smiled awkwardly, taking the offered cup making the girl blush before running off embarrassed.
"Now I think she likes you." Elaine joked back wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.
"Shut up. Lets go play some beer pong and get wasted or something." he said taking a sip of his own drink with a faint blush on his cheeks.
Elaine laughed again as the two set out to enjoy their first college party.

For the third night in a row Jamie awoke to the sound of little Tony and Ella crying their eyes out.
He didn't even bother checking the time since he knew that from the faint bit of sunlight across the horizon was any indication, it was too early.
"Shhhshhh, it's ok guys it's ok. Are we hungry?" he asked his pups, eyes still shut with sleep as he rocked them.
The pups just continued to cry as he went to the kitchen to find their milk.
"Why do you guys hate me so much? I'm trying guys, I'm really trying here. Can't you just give me a break." he wined bouncing them as he tried to feed them.
"They don't hate you pup, they just miss their mommy." he heard his mom say as she walked into the kitchen in her silk burgundy red bathrobe, holding her hands out expectedly.
"Well I miss her too but you don't see me crying." he said handing over Ella to her.
Martha could only force a smile as Jamie kissed Tony's small head softly, his eyes starting to water.
She knew he missed Elaine.
She could see it in how he rocked the twins and started longingly at the pictures of them in the hospital with the twins after they were born.
Martha may have been an alpha but she wasn't naïve of the effect that not having your mate with you when you just gave birth to their pups could do to a person, let alone a young omega.
After a pregnant pause she saw a single tear fall from her sons cheek as he held his son.
"It's only been three days and..I...just miss her so much." he whimpered, rubbing his tired teary eyes.
"I know son. I-It's just gonna take some getting used to." Martha said while rocking Ella back to sleep from her wolfs purr.
"I know....I-I'm just tired." he said closing his eyes practically falling asleep upright.
"I know son. I wish I could tell you it gets easier but I'd be lying. You just haven't gotten used to the new changes yet. It's just gonna take some time." Martha said with a small smile looking at the two pups.
"Here, why don't you give me little Tony and go back to sleep."
"What? No, its ok. I can take care of them. I just need a minute" he said feeling his wolf growl at the thought of leaving his pups in another's hand, even if it was his mother.
"Son, you need your sleep and I've done this plenty of times. Besides I have off tomorrow so it's not gonna affect me. Trust your mother and go get some rest" she said with that motherly tone only she could use.
"Huh....ok then....goodnight." he said fighting with his wolf's instincts to fight sleep and passed his son over to his mother giving the twins kisses on their foreheads.
After finding his way upstairs all of Jamie's energy seemed to fall out of his body like water from a cup.
The second his head hit his pillows he was out like a light.
