"So you said you where in an accident before? Care to elaborate?" Trisha asked leaning forward, pen and pad in hand, leaning forward in her chair drawing more attention to her ample cleavage from tight back crop top."It's really not that big of a story. I was going through a rough patch when it came to getting offers from colleges an-"
"Because your mate was pregnant right?" Trisha cut her off writing in her note pad.
"Yes." Elaine nodded before continuing, "Because I had gotten him pregnant I had trouble finding any schools that would take me in that wasn't too far away from home.
"So I played every game I could to try to force any more local schools to give me a chance and in doing so I played a game where I got a small concussion." she said with a shrug of her shoulders as Trish continued to write down notes.
"That must've sucked givin the pressure you were under." she said with a soft smile before Elaine continued.
"Yeah it sucked, but I stupidly pushed passed it and went to my districts combine where I played through a migraine or two and put up some decent numbers-"
"Decent numbers? I think someone's being modest. If I got my information right you broke your personals best in both the high jump and bench press, placed first in the forty yard dash, first in the sixty yard shuttle, the only player not to drop a pass and the only player to broke up eight passes on the day." Trisha said raddling off her combine states with a impress all be it smug smile.
"Looks like someone's been doing their homework." Elaine said with a raised eye brow.
"It pays to be informed." she winked at her, "Well at least that's what they say." she said then motioned for her to continue.
"Well, despite my numbers I wasn't invited to play on the seven on seven showcase game and on my way back home I got a migraine and my car got spun and crashed, fracturing a few bones. That effectively took me out of any discussion when it came to recruiting for college so my football career was basically over."
"Your parents must've been worried sick." Trisha said writing what Elaine told her down.
"They probably would've been if my mom was still alive and if my dad was a part of my life in any form." she shrugged again, leaning further back into her chair.
"Oh, I'm sorry." she said writing that down quickly on her pad.
"It's cool. You're not the reason they ain't around." the alpha girl said as an uncomfortable silence took over the corner of the library they were in.
"Now, I mean to pry because I am a reporter and all..but...have, you actually ever met your father or know who he is?" she asked Elaine who just snickered.
"No, I've never personally ever met him before but I know who he is." she said as she and her wolf all but growled at the thought of the man.
"And who would that be?" Trisha pressed further.
"I can't say." Elaine said quickly.
"Aw come on...you can't hang a piece of juicy story like that in front of me and not tell me who it is." Trisha whined making Elaine chuckle.
"Believe me, I'd want nothing more than to shout his name out from the roof tops just to piss him off but I can't. I'm legally not allowed to." Elaine explained to the beta girl.
