Being separated from Elaine was painful and it made Jamie long for her warmth, but having their pups with him made up for the whole she made in his heart. Now starting his Junior year at Osborn high school, the school was thankfully flexible enough and prepared enough to have online classes ready to help him to further his education while he took care of his pups with the help of his parents, to which he was thankful. Because he knew that balancing school and the pups would be a near impossible task to do alone.
Especially without Elaine there to help him....relax.
"How's it going son?" his father asked popping his head in his room snapping Jamie out of his day dreams
"It's going good I guess, I just miss my friends....and Elaine..." he sighed, falling into his hands tired.
He couldn't prove it but Jamie knew the twins missed their mom....and they were taking it out on him. He hadn't been able to get more than four hours of sleep all night and he'd been dragging ever sense.
"I know son, but you just gotta deal with the hand you've been dealt. I got to get to work I'll see you at dinner." he said shrugging as his phone went off.
" I know, I know....I just wish they were here....I wish she here..." he said looking over to his sleeping pups and he couldn't help but be reminded of Elaine in the smallest of ways.
"I miss you baby." he thought returning before returning to his schoolwork.

"To those who I haven't come to know over the summer, welcome to Washington State University, home of the Rhino's. My name is Marcus Washington and I am your new head coach." the former AFL linemen said to the large group of sweaty, exhausted players.
"Now today was just a hello to practice, but tomorrow we get into just how the Rhino's play" he smiled devilishly at the sweating group of young players before continuing,
"As I'm sure you know being a student athlete will be challenging and you're going to need to preform in the class room and in practice if you're going to even have a shot of playing on the field for my team." he said resolute before checking his watch.
"Now I know you all have orientation in an hour so go get showered and dressed and head to the auditorium, and once again welcome to Washington State." he said dismissing the group.

After a long day of boring lectures and classroom dribble Elaine woke up the next day at five am to get a head start on breakfast while Taejo slept for a extra two hours before meeting her in the weight room were they both did some light work before their first classes of the semester.
Knowing her schedule Elaine impatiently sat through her three classes of education, business/finance and sociology to which she admittedly phoned in before she got taped up and put on her pads, dressing for her first day of team practice.
Her wolf howled in excitement.
"Finally we get to play some football. I was starting to get bored sitting in classes rooms all day." Elaine said cracking her neck.
"I know right. I study enough math at home, I came here to play football." Taejo quipped back putting on his helmet as they walked out to practice bumping fists.
The football field for Washington State was a large dome that could house just over one hundred thousand people. It's seat's a mix of red and a clay like grey that looked down at the field. It's fake grass painted with a large rhino head that was the school's pride and joy.
