"You wanted to see me coach?" Elaine said poking her head into his office.

"Yes I did, please come in." he said motioning for her to sit.

"I want to challenge you tonight Miss Perez." he said peaking her interest.

"I'm always up for a good challenge, shoot." she said confidently.

"You have played well these last two games despite only getting little to no playing time so I want to see what you can do with some more time on the field." he said making her eyes widen in surprise.

"Yes coach, thank you coach. I'll play has much as you need me to." she said as she tried to contain the rush of happiness that flooded from her body.

"Good. Now get changed and go talk with coach Carter to go over the positions he's going to play you in tonight, best of luck and don't make me look bad." he said with a nod.

"Wouldn't dream of it coach, thanks again." she said standing quickly and leaving his office before he got a chance to change his mind.

After finding her locker and dressing in her gear she found coach Cater with Matthews and the other first string players for tonight's game against the Portland State OddBalls, a team that was 2-0 on the season.

"Perez, nice of you to finally join us." Coach Carter said in a condescending tone.

"Sorry, coach just told me I was starting." Elaine said.

"You're not starting rookie, you're just playing the first quarter so don't get your panties in a twist." Matthews said growling at her.

"I'll keep that in mind, Sir." she said giving him an annoyed side eye.

"Alright enough. Now listen up." Coach Cater said clapping his hands together breaking the tension that build between the two alpha's.

"Now as we went over in film we know that Portland loves the deep pass so we're going to need to put pressure on their quarterback if we're going to hope to break their rhythm early and throw them off their game."

"So D-Linemen that will be your job. We will need you to rush that offense like their keeping away an omega during  your ruts got it!" he asked the big boys who all grinned and nodded.

"While they do that we're going to need you guys in the backfield to contain their receivers because if you don't it'll be open season on your ass for the rest of the year. Think you can handle that freshmen?" coach Cater asked Elaine who grit her teeth at his venomous tone.

"It won't be a problem boss." she said forcing a smile making the man grunt.

"Ok then. Just remember to play your positions and well leave for the road with a W. Now lets get out there and show these guys what we're made of." he said with confidence as they broke their little huddle.

Before Elaine could leave to tell Jamie the good news Elaine was stopped by Matthews who stood in front of her with an angry expression on his face.

"What's up captain?" she asked placing her hand on her hip with a bored expression on her face.

"Cut the crap freshmen, you and I both know the only reason you're getting any playing time at all is because you got a hook in coach Williams. We both know you don't deserve to be on this team let alone in this school, so if you're smart you'll just sit back and let us real alphas do our thing then maybe you can actually be proud when your folks call and ask how things are going in your boring little life." he said with an arrogant grin as he looked down at the girl.
