After spending some more time to rekindle their love for one another the young couple went home were Elaine immediately grabbed her pups out of her in laws hands and showered them with all of her love and affection."Come here my little devils! Did you miss your mommy? Did you? Cause mommy missed you!" Elaine said happily scooping up the twins in her arms making them chuckle and cheer now that their mommy was home.
"Welcome home Elaine." Martha smiled watching the alpha girl play with her pups.
"Thank you Martha." Elaine said distracted as she swung from side to side while holding her pups.
"And where the fuck have you been doing for past ten hours? It's four twenty." Travis asked Jamie, crossing his arms annoyed as continued Elaine showered her little pups with kisses
"Well w-"
"Come on bro, they haven't seen each other in four days I'm pretty sure you can tell from their scent alone what they've been doing for the past ten hours." Max chuckled making Jamie turn beet red.
Travis just rolled his eyes and went to his room annoyed.
"Well I see he's still an asshole." Elaine laughed as she rocked the pups in her arms.
"Yup." Max nodded.
"So how how's college? I wish you would've let us go with you on your first day." Martha asked changing the subject.
"I didn't want to hassle you guys, but so far College is good. The classes are all boring so far and my coaches are on my ass in practice all the time when I play my way, but it's all worth it since I get to see these little guys before the season starts." Elaine said nosing her pups.
"Well that's good and I'm sure things will be easier once you've settled in." the older alpha said kindly checking the time.
"Well I'm sure you guys are hungry and Dad's gonna be home soon so I'm gonna get started on dinner ok. Glad to have you back Elaine." she smiled one more time before turning toward the kitchen.
"Awesome. I'm not gonna lie I've missed your moms cooking." Elaine smiled, passing Tony to Jamie while Ella wrapped her little arms around her mothers neck purring contently.
Jamie couldn't help the smile that crept across his face as Elaine held their daughter tightly to her chest as his wolf purred lovingly to little Tony making the pup start to doze off to sleep.
The rest of the their evening went by rather quickly as Elaine played with the pups, keeping them awake and occupied while Jamie used that time to finish a few tests from school before dinner so when his father came home and said hello to the pups and his mate the family sat down and had their dinner and talked about their first week as third years at Osborn and Elaine's first week at Washington State.
"So I hear the coaches are giving you a hard time." Luther, Jamie's father said after swallowing his mates famous spicy shrimp pasta.
"Yeah they've been on my ass, but it's alright. I'm still gonna keep playing my way." Elaine shrugged drinking her water.
"Do you thing that's smart?" Martha chimed in, wiping her mouth with her napkin.
"What do you mean?" Elaine asked confused.
"I mean, is it smart to ignore your coaches? They probably want you to play a certain way for a reason." the red haired alpha reasoned.
"She's right, it's not smart going against what your coaches want. If you don't play how they ask then they have no reason to play you on the field in a real game." Jamie's father warned.
