After Deimos and I made up, I returned to our house and started living together again. Mabuti na lang at mabilis din siyang gumaling mula sa sakit niya.

The next months that passed by like a blur definitely made our relationship better. Well... hindi pa rin namin sinasabi sa publiko na mag-asawa kami dahil alam ng asawa ko na hindi pa ako handa hangga't hindi ko pa sinasabi sa mga taong importante sa'kin ang totoo na may asawa na ako.

Pinaglaruan ko ang fountain pen na iniregalo pa sa'kin ni Deimos noong birthday ko. He said that he really doesn't know what to give me so instead, he bought me a very rare and expensive fountain pen which I can use in my work as a doctor. Hindi ko naman mapigilan na masiyahan dahil pinag-isipan niya talaga ang ibinigay niya sa'kin and after our little celebration, we ended up having pretty mindblowing birthday sex.

I stopped playing with the pen and stared at my Ipad thoroughly. I've been studying a new patient kaya ito nanaman ako ngayon at busy. Natigilan lang ako nang marinig ko ang katok sa pintuan ng opisina ko at pumasok ang isang Doktora na kaibigan ko rin dito.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked softly bago binitawan ang hawak na ipad.

She sat on the chair in front of my desk before frustratingly putting her hands on the top of my desk. "I need your help."

I pursed my lips at her. Itinukod ko ang siko ko sa desk ko at pinaglaruan ang kamay ko habang hindi inaalis ang tingin sa kanya.

"You? Dr. Storm Davids-Night?" I tilted my head. "Are you kidding me or you're really..." Tumango siya na ikinatigil ko. "Oh..."

"You're a friend that I trust here in the Hospital kahit na minsan lang tayo magkita dahil magkaiba ang specialize work natin. Ikaw lang ang maahasan ko nito."

Pinagsiklop ko ang palad ko. "Okay. I'm all ears."

"I'm planning on surprising my husband."

"A surprise? You could ask help from your other friends about that."

"I... uh... they're busy."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"You're acting weird, Storm."

"I'm not. I just want your help, Ian. Anong weird dito?" Tinaasan niya pa ako ng kilay na mas lalong nagpasungit sa masungit niya ng mukha.

"Fine, fine. Continue your proposed plan for your surprise."

"I wanna bring him to an island."

Napatango ako. "That's cool. Saang isla ba?"

The side of her lips lifted up a little. "An island owned by a friend."

"Like a honeymoon." Napangiti ako doon dahil ang sweet naman pala ni Dra. Davids. "Ano ang maitutulong ko sa'yo kung gano'n?"

"I want you to check on the island and personally prepare everything there for me habang ginagawa ko rin dito ang una kong sorpresa para sa asawa ko."

Napakurap ako doon. "So you have two surprises?"

"Yes."

"And you want me to prepare the other one for you which is located in an island owned by your friend?"

"Yes."

Ibinaba ko ang siko ko. I picked up my iPad and went to my calendar which was loaded with different schedules every day before showing it to her.

"You do know that I'm busy and so are you, right?"

She glanced at my timetable and immediately went back to me na parang wala lang siyang nabasang schedule. She tapped her fingers on my desk once before standing up from the chair and made her palms as support while leaning down on me.
