*Jay's POV*

I was totally in love with our daughter.
Alani was in my arms right now and Erin was sleeping because she still was totally exhausted from giving birth.
"Hey there." Will walked in.
"Look at you, brother. Happy father and husband." Will smiled and me and I chuckled.
"When we were younger you told me that you never want to get married and that you don't want children." My brother sat down next to me on a chair.
"Yeah. I remember. But I didn't know Erin then." I looked at her with love and stroked her hand gently.
"She really brought out the best in you." Will looked at me and then needed to leave again because he had a new patient coming in.
Alani looked at me with her big eyes.
Her eyes were a similar color to her mother's, but her hair had the color of my hair and I could see some freckles too.
"Hey you two." Erin woke up and had a smile on her face.
"Hey." I gave her a kiss on the forehead.
"I can't believe that we really have a baby." She looked enchanted at Alani.
"I know. It's kind of crazy and at the same time I don't understand how we can be blessed with this little wonder." I passed our daughter over to Erin as she looked like she was hungry.
"Can I leave you two alone for a second? Because Adam texted me that the unit is downstairs." Erin nodded and I got up.
"There he is!" They all waited in a separate room and everyone clapped and cheered when I entered the room.
"Don't cheer for me. Erin did the work. I just watched." I had a huge smile on my face but didn't want to get any credits for what happened in the last few hours.
"But you knocked her up, Daddy." Adam smirked and I slightly punshed him.
"Don't you call me that, you jerk." I rolled my eyes but couldn't help and crack a smile.

*Erin's POV*

I heard a knock on the door and then Jay walked back in followed by Hank.
"Hey." I smiled at him and he came over to my bed.
"Hey kiddo." He smiled back and then looked at his granddaughter.
They weren't blood relatives, but since Hank was like a father to me, it was clear that he would be her grandpa.
"Can I hold her?" He asked and when I nodded he took her out if my arms.
"Ouh she's so tiny." He had held out a finger to her, which her little hands immediately closed around.
"Was painful enough to get her so she didn't need to be any bigger." I smirked and Jay walked over to me and sat down on the bed.
"You need anything?" Jay took my hand and our fingers clenched.
"I just need you and her and then I'm all good." I pulled him down to me and kissed him, even when Hank was there, but he turned away and looked extensively at Alani to give us some privacy.
"I love you." I formed the words more than I said them but Jay got it and smiled.
"Love you too." He leaned down and kissed me again.
"Then I'll go again and leave you alone. Congratulations on your little family." Hank had put our daughter in her cot and closed the door behind him.
"I feel sorry for him." The thought just came to my mind and Jay looked a little confused.
"He lost Camille and then Justin." I squeezed Jay's hand.
"He got you and now he got this beautiful little granddaughter. He's gonna be just fine, Er." Jay put his arms around me and I snuggled up to him.
