*Jay's POV*
I tried with all my might to open the window.
My eyes were watering from the smoke and I had to cough all the time.
For a short time I had the hope that someone would save me, but that probably wouldn't happen.
The three people had taken both of my guns from me, but forgot my radio that I was holding right now.
"Erin." I coughed heavily because there was hardly anything but smoke around me.
"Jay! You have to hold on." I wasn't sure if she knew what was happening because I wasn't sure myself.
"There's nothing to worry about. I just wanted to check in on you." I smiled and hoped she could hear it.
"You don't have to play the hero. I'm standing next to your car, I know what's happening right now." I could hear her sob and it broke my heart.
"It's all gonna be alright. I love you." I had to sit down because I couldn't stand anymore.
I saw the flames come closer to me and my air got cut off from the smoke.
"I love you, Erin." My radio slipped out of my hand and I didn't bother looking for it.
"I love you." I kept repeating that sentence and felt my vision getting blurrier until it went fully dark and I passed out.
Now laying between smoke and flames.*Erin's POV*
"Kelly and Casey are coming for you! You hear me, Jay? They'll come and save you. You have to hold on!" Tears ran down my face and I looked up at the spot where the smoke was coming from.
"Where are they?" Chief Boden stood next to me and he was my chance to get news from Casey and Severide.
"Casey. Severide. Report." Boden asked his two lieutenants.
"We found the room, Chief. But the door is blocked." I didn't realize I was shaking until Hank took my shoulder and sat me down.
"I know it's hard, but you need to calm down." Hailey sat down next to me and handed me some water.
"We got him, Chief." I jumped up and felt a sharp pain in my stomach.
"Medic!" Upton yelled immediately and Hank held my hand as I bend over in pain.
Gabby came running towards us and got what was going on right away.
"You have to calm down." She took a syringe out of her case and gave it to me.
"What's that?" I tried to breathe slowly but it was nearly impossible.
"Something to stop you from having contractions. Because I'll do everything I can to ensure that you don't have this baby right now." She looked at me and I nodded.
"Coming out!" I heard Severide say on Boden's radio and I looked at the door.
The two firefighter came out the door and carried a lifeless body with them.
"Jay." I put a hand over my mouth.
"He's alive!" Matt called when he saw me sitting on the floor, getting checked over by his wife.
"See. Everything is alright." Hank had a hand on my arm.
"It is better?" Gabby asked and I nodded.
"But you're coming to the hospital with us. Brett, bring me the stretcher!" She called over to her partner and then I got loaded up in an ambulance and we followed the ambo where Jay was in.
"You come with me." Natalie took care of rolling me down the floor in a wheelchair that Maggie had put me in.
"I can walk." The whole time I looked back, where Jay was brought into a room by his brother Will and Dr Choi.
"We'll see that in a moment. I am not taking any unnecessary risk here." Dr. Manning made me lie down on a lounger and then got the ultrasound machine.
"Looks fine, your baby is fine, but it was good that Gabby gave you something." I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"By the way, I could tell you the gender right now. The baby is in a good position." She said but I shook my head.
"I want Jay to be here aswell." I tensed because I didn't know if that was going to happen.
