Under Your Wings

Humans can be cruel sometimes.

There are people being transported on the basement of the palace. They are selling people at the auction to turn them as their slaves. It's sickening, frightening, to think this was made possible by people with power is beyond belief.

They may have the law but justice will always side with the truth. There will come a day where they will all fall and I will be on top to witness the end of their greed.

Hanselions has justice, compassion, and gallantry that can make knights and soldiers kneel. They fear for the silent power they possess that shall resonate across the howling wind, carrying their voices to the far edges of the lands and seas.

"Where are they taking you?"

"You need to run." The man warned.

"Please, tell me kung saan nila kayo dinadala!" I pleaded.

"Magtago na kayo!" Tinakpan muli ng lalaki ang bariles niya na para bang may tinataguan siya.

I heard footsteps approaching. Hinawakan ko nang mahigpit si Ema at hinigit siya para magtago sa likod ng mga bariles.

It was dark but I could see figures talking and pointing at the barrels as if they're doing trading. Kung pwede ko lang sila sugurin... but I have to look after Ema.

Nagulat na lang ako nang may humawak sa aking bibig at hinatak ako sa likod ng pinto. Nang binitawan niya ako, agad ko siyang sinuntok sa tiyan.

Napaatras siya sa akin habang hinahawakan ang parte na sinuntok ko, he didn't made a sound but the expression in his face tells me he was in pain.

"Tyler?" I whispered. 

He grunted in response.

"Oh, crap! I'm sorry." Inalalayan ko siyang sumandal sa pader habang nakakapit pa rin siya sa tiyan niya.

"It's fine. Now I know you're good at self-defense."

"Anong ginagawa mo rito?"

"Sinundan kita." Sagot niya na nakatingin sa akin. "It's unlike of you to leave our bed. I thought there's something wrong kaya naisip ko na sundan ka pero hindi ko akalain na may nadiskubre ka na pala. How did you get here?"

"I followed their faint voices and it lead me to them." Sabay tinuro ko ang mga bariles sa kabilang side ng pader na nagtatago sa amin.

"We should go." Hihilahin niya sana ako pero pinigilan ko siya.

"We need to get them out of here!"

"Not right now." Sabay may tinuro siya sa mga palakad-lakad na bantay malapit sa mga truck. May suot silang itim na shades, dala ang mga baril na may suppressor. "They'd get us killed before we'll be able to let them escape."

"Then what should we do? Hindi naman natin pwedeng hayaan na mabenta sila sa Slave Auction!"

Mahigpit na hinawakan ni Tyler ang aking braso upang pigilan ako sa kung ano man ang gagawin ko. Hindi pa ko nagsisimula, nababasa niya na kaagad ang nasa isip ko.

"I understand your frustration right now. I want to set them free too but if we get caught, who knows what will happen to us. I can't take that risk." Sabi niya.

"We have to do something! Paano kung ito lang ang tsansa nila na makalaya?"

"Please, baby. Just listen." Tyler tries to calm me down. "Mag-isip muna tayo ng plano. Alamin natin kung saan sila dinadala, kung saan ginaganap ang Slave Auction."
