      "...... Nothing serious at the moment, but just to be safe, I'll latch her on the oxygen mask. "The doctor stated as he strapped the mask onto Kiera's face. Kiera on the other hand did not show any signs of waking up.

      "Is there something I can do? "Ken asked out of concern while Koromaru whined a bit, showing that it feels the same.

      "It's best to keep an eye on her tonight. If her condition worsens, emit her to the hospital immediately. I'll notify Mrs. Kirijou in the morning, it's too late into the night. She might be sleeping already if we put the consideration of the school's curfew."The doctor instructed as he packed up his equipment.

      "Alright. Thank you. "Ken thanked the doctor and walked him out the dorms while Koromaru stayed back to keep watch of Kiera in her own room.

None of them knew what happened. She was just fine until suddenly a fever broke out and she collapsed on her trip to the toilet. Ken only took his eyes off from her for five minutes to feed Koromaru and it happened.

Even though it was unpredictable, Ken still felt that he slacked off on the job and not noticing Kiera's worsening condition sooner. He failed on his task.

Still, it's a good thing the seniors are coming back in the morning. It's always reassuring to know that there're extra pairs of eyes helping to keep watch.

What he and Koromaru need to do, is to stay guard Kiera from the upcoming dark hour. Afterward, there will be a lesser burden on the two.

Letting out a sigh, Ken proceeded to lock the main door of the dorms as they are no longer expecting any visitors. Plus, the dark hour is coming, the locked door should help in blocking wild shadows from entering.

With everything set, Ken returned to his room and grabbed his spear and evolker. Even though shadows are unlikely to break into the dorms, Ken doesn't want to take his chances. It's best to be prepared than nothing.

After arming himself, he went back up the stairs to find Koromaru waiting outside of Kiera's room with his evolker in its mouth and wagging its tail.

     "Does Koro-chan wants to help stay guard tonight as well? What a good boy. "Ken chuckled as he patted Koromaru's head. Koromaru barked in satisfactory as Ken helped it to put on the evoker.

Finally, with everything set, the two entered Kiera's room and waited for the arrival of the dark hour.

     "There, now Chidori is all pretty! "The little girl with brown hair exclaimed as she clapped her hands, showing off the red-haired girl in a cute white bonnet.

      "I don't see the point in all of this. "The blue-haired boy stated with his arms crossed.

      "She likes it, I don't mind. "Young Chidori answered with an emotionless face. Her gaze briefly cast on the haggard-looking brown hair girl whose arms were connected with at least 5 needles each and had various drugs being pumped into her as they speak. Young Jin spoke nothing afterward.

      "Don't worry, I can still hold on. "Young Haruna smiled as she reassured the two.

      "..... I don't understand, why are you trying so hard? "Young Jin questioned.

       "As long as I succeed, you two won't die. "Young Haruna answered.

       "They gonna kill us? "Chidori asked.

       "No..... Maybe. They'll do this to you. And..... It hurts. Like a lot. I've seen many children die because they can't take it. I don't want this to happen to you two. "Young Haruna stated as she pointed at her own arms.
