Hiroko refocuses on Principal Nezu's hologram.

"Now about your practical exam portion of the test. All the proctors at U.A. were taken back by your style of taking this portion of the test," he adds in a dramatic pause. This only adds to Hiroko's anxiety.

"Young Hiroko Midoriya. In our years of proctoring the exam we have never seen a prospective candidate take it upon themselves to purposefully calm their competitors," Nezu explains.

A video clip of her cheering before the exam is shown in the corner. Hiroko blushes not realizing her actions were being watched even before the exam even started.

"This act of kindness and self confidence are qualities we greatly support and hope to cultivate in new students," he continues while Hiroko gives up on taking notes and clenches onto a pillow, she grabs it with a full body death hug.

Nezu continues, "If this wasn't enough you got 27 villain points a very respectable number."

Hiroko groans realizing how many missed opportunities she had that could have given her a way better score. She's getting nervous listening to the principal's speech on the point system.

"Now for the points that we didn't openly discuss during the initial orientation," this part of the speech makes Hiroko perk up.

"We also were grading you on heroic points. Unfortunately, we can't award you for any based on how you acted before the exam officially started, but during the exam we watched as you willingly choose to pass on points. Instead, you choose to help move flying debris from other students to ensure their safety. This act of heroic and many others we witnessed earned you 55 heroic points."

Hiroko screams with excitements at these unexpected points. She quickly does some mental math and realizes she has 76 points.

Whispering to herself, "If I passed the written like he says and got that many points on the practical. Does that mean?!" She stops muttering to herself to listen to the rest of the recording.

"With a score like yours and charisma to spare you've shown traits befitting a hero. We would like to welcome you to U.A. high school's 1-A heroic's course," the principal states.

Hiroko screams again with glee and begins dancing around her room. Completely unable to contain her excitement. The confetti from the recording adds to her celebration. She even kisses the device before running out of her room to share the excitement with her mom and brother.

"Mom! I did it! I got into U.A. High school and the hero course!" Hiroko shouts

Inko has tears in her eyes hearing her daughter call her mom, "I'm so proud of you sweetie I knew you could do it."

They embrace in a tight hug only to hear the small creak of a door open. Both abruptly turn to look in Izuku's direction. Hiroko sees tears in his eyes and she assumes the worst, she falls to her knees feeling so bad for her little brother. She knows he was as excited to find out the results as she was.

Inko runs up to Izuku holding him tightly as they both begin to cry hysterically. Hiroko gets up and walks over to pat her brother on the back in condolences.

Izuku is barely able to speak between tears, "Hiroko did you not get in? I know how much this meant to you." He continues to ball his eyes out.

Hiroko is taken back by his question, "Actually I did get in and with pretty good scores on the practical. But don't worry Izuku we don't have to talk about it anymore tonight."

Izuku's eyes go wide as he begins to cry more and Hiroko can barely make out the words between sobs, "You- mean- we – are going to be- in hero class- together?"

"Wait what?!" Hiroko shouts pulling her hand away from comforting her brother.

She takes a moment at them and their deep embrace, finally notices the massive smiles on both her mother's and brother's faces. She didn't notice before because of all the tears and emotions pouring out of them.

"You jerk!" Hiroko slaps Izuku's shoulder hard. "You made me think you didn't get in with all those tears."

Hiroko feeling frustrated by the excessive emotions. She stomps to her room and slams the door.

A few hours later there is a knock on her door from her mother, "Sweetheart you should come out and eat something."

"I'm not really hungry. Today was pretty emotional and I'd like to rest," Hiroko explains without wanting to go into detail.

"Ok. If you are sure. We will save you some dinner," her mother responds.

"Thanks," is all Hiroko says with no intention of continuing the conversation.

Hiroko moves to her desk to start working on the U.A. paperwork when she hears another knock on the door, "Please not right now mom. I really am tired."

"It's not mom," Izuku says.

An awkward pause of neither speaking continues.

"Can I come in?" He finally asks.

"Fine," Hiroko says in a curt tone.

Izuku slowly opens the door. He's holding a plate of curry and rice. He places it on the desk without saying a word, but clearly glancing at her screen to see what she is working on.

"I'm sorry I made you feel hurt when I asked about the exam," he says as goes to sit on her bed.

Hiroko watches him closely to see if he is being sincere or if mom forced him to come in. Seeing that he is being sincere she decides its only right to try and open up.

"Its not your fault. I'm really glad we both got in," Hiroko says with sincerity, but able to hid the exhaustion from the days events.

"I'm just trying to adjust to yours and mom's lifestyle and it's really hard. I feel like an outsider still."

Izuku looks down at his hands not knowing how to respond.

Hiroko changes topics seeing he's uncomfortable, "Forget it this is new for all of us. It will take time to get used to each other. On a different note, how did you pass the practical? You don't have a quirk and I can't imagine how you could fight a robot even if you did get more buff."

She teases poking him in the bicep, but gets no response. Izuku refuses to look away from his hands resting on his lap.

A theory pops into her head and curiosity gets the better of Hiroko, "Wait! Do you have a quirk?"

Izuku flinches.

"No way!" She exclaims with genuine excitement for her brother.

"You have to tell me about it. When did you get it? Is it like mom's or dad's? Why didn't you tell me I would have loved to talk to you about this? I always knew you had the potential to be a great hero," she beams with joy for her brother's dream to be one step closer and more realistic.

Silence fills the room. Izuku even turns away from her to avoid accidently looking up. Hiroko begins feeling hurt by his silence and tries one more time.

"Why won't you talk to me?" Emotions she's tried to suppress from the past few years overwhelm her. "Why won't either of you ever really talk to me? WHAT DID I DO THAT IS SO WRONG?!"

Izuku's eyes go wide looking at her and he stutters, "Hir-Hiroko it's not you. I -I just can't talk about this."

Hiroko is even more hurt by his response. "GET OUT!" she points to the door, which he walks directly to.

"And you know what. Don't even talk to me at school. We can pretend we don't even know each other. That way there's no concern of you needing to look down on me."

Hiroko slams the door and makes sure it is locked. Too frustrated by feeling even more like her family doesn't even want anything to do with her, she decides to go to sleep and hope tomorrow is better.
