Aizawa appears in front of the class and all the students immediately go quiet. "Today you will be showing me your quirks in a series of small test. This will help me see where you are with your quirk and where it needs to improve."

Small whispers of nervousness and excitement can be heard from the class. Aizawa stares everyone down and they all go quiet immediately.

"There is a catch," Aizawa adds a dramatic pause Hiroko is struggling not to laugh. "Whoever gets last place will be removed from the program."

"WHAT!" shouts from the students can be heard.

Aizawa groans then calls out, "Katsuki Bakugo, step forward."

Everyone goes quiet again as Bakugo steps towards their teacher and all eyes are on him.

Hiroko rolls her eyes seeing that Bakugo is loving all the attention. He's handed a baseball.

"Throw is as far as you can without leaving the circle. And you may use your quirk how everyone you see fit," Aizawa explains.

Aizawa sense the hesitation from everyone, "You are all at U.A. in the hero program you are allowed to use your quirk on school grounds... with Supervision." Extra emphasis on supervision.

"Now Bakugo here scored the highest on the practical exam. So he will get to start it off by throwing the ball with free use of his quirk," Aizawa explains further.

Hiroko's eye twitches realizing Bakugo is the one she lost to by a single point. She listened enough times to Nezu's recording to make her desperate to find her unnamed rival.

"Why him," Hiroko says with bitterness and eyes narrowed at Bakugo. She quickly gaining a few glances from the students nearby who are surprised to see an intense expression from the girl they thought was easy going.

"DIE!" Bakugo screams bringing everyone's attention back to the test. Hiroko never looked away and is starting to get an idea of what his quirk could be.

"706 meter," Aizawa announces.

Everyone cheers and congratulates Bakugo on his way back. Hiroko gives a slow clap while maintaining eye contact with him the whole time. Izuku is sweating and panicking about being kicked out of the program while also worried about Bakugo and Hiroko butting heads.

"Alright everyone we are starting with a 50 meter race," Aizawa announces and swiftly moving to the main field.

Hiroko got paired against Aoyoma. They each took their awkward stances. Hiroko took off her shoes with her hands extended forward while Aoyama turned around and asked everyone to move away.

"Go," Aizawa shouts.

Hiroko goes flying, but has trouble with the stop, "Shit!" Hiroko goes tumbling to a stop but laughs as soon as she makes a full stop landing in a crouched hero pose.

Aizawa glares, "No swearing, 3.59 seconds."

Aoyoma tumbles once then uses his laser again to get 5.5 seconds.

"I think I ruined any chance of being on our teacher's good side," Hiroko says to Mina who giggles. "You sure you want to be seen with me?"

"Hiroko! Pay attention!" Aizawa shouts at her.

"Yes sir! Mr. Aizawa sir" Hiroko shouts fully stiff and saluting as if in the army only to cause Aizawa to groan.

"Yep, he hates me," Hiroko says realizing she is digging a deeper hole for herself.

Hiroko hangs her head in despair. Mina pats her on the back trying not to laugh and looks to some of the other guys who are also trying to hold it together at Hiroko's continuous fails.

Even though Hiroko seems out of sorts she still listens to Midoriya's and Bakugo's times. She is impressed and frustrated that Bakugo is doing so well. With Midoriya she doesn't know how to feel anymore, but him not using his supposed quirk is irritating her.

The grip test is next with Shouji scoring the highest. Hiroko got a highly respectable second causing all the guys to go pale.

Kirishima comes over brimming with excitement, "That is so manly! How did you do that? You seem so petite."

Hiroko isn't sure if she's being insulted or complimented. Mina comes over and slaps him in the back of the head.

"You can't call her that. You are being really rude," Mina defends Hiroko.

Kirishima panics, "I didn't mean it in a negative way. I was really impressed is all."

Hiroko sees he really didn't intend it to be insulting, "No harm, no foul. Thanks for the compliment and apology it's really manly of you to accept your mistake."

Kirishima goes pure red after being called manly. Mina giggles at her friend's reaction to a girl complimenting him. Before Hiroko can question anything, they move to the standing long jump and sit-ups.

Hiroko did ok on those, but couldn't really find a way to use her quirk. The side steps she really got to shine using her 'Pull' Quirk to move side to side at an extreme speed.

"Light as feather and sting like a bee," Hiroko chants after feeling good about her side-step bringing her up the ranks.

"Hir-Hiroko, I think you mean 'float like a butterfly, sting like a bee'" Midoriya corrects.

Hiroko is too excited to be concerned about the actual phrasing, "Is it really a butterfly? Oh well I feel more like a feather right now anyway."

She continues bouncing around feeling a second wind of energy. She can't help, but smirk at Bakugo and Todoroki to let them know they are going to lose the lead.

Bakugo gets irritated and tsks at Hiroko acting smug. Todoroki is unphased and walks to the next test. Which happens to be the ball throw.

Before Midoriya leaves Hiroko can't help seeing him struggle through all the tests and somehow feel at fault, "Midoriya."

He stops and turns slowly towards her. He is clearly terrified about something.

"Why aren't you using your quirk? Is it really so bad if I see it?" Hiroko asks while Midoriya stays quiet.

"You know I don't actually want to see you fail. Would it help if I made an excuse to go to the nurse and I'm not around?" she tries to offer.

He adamantly shakes his head no. He sighs then responding to his persistent sister, "I don't want to mess up using it."

"Well, that's dumb!" Hiroko shouts staring at him like he's the biggest idiot.

"If you don't use it how can you master it? You already saw me face plant and roll across the field like a tumbleweed during the race," she stares him down. "Stop worrying and find away to improve on your own. No one is going to help you out of the blue."

Hiroko can feel herself getting frustrated from things not relating to what's going on right now and decides it better to end the conversation, "You know what, you figure it out. You got here all on your own I'm sure you find a way to stay and prove you belong here."

Hiroko walks away feeling upset at herself and begins mumbling, "stupid temper, stupid Midoriya. I try to be nice and I only get treated like a nobody. Why do I keep trying? I will not be distracted. This is my moment too."

She continues to rant on her way to the baseball field. Midoriya watches her walk away and realizes she's right about one thing. He needs to prove he belongs here, even if it's to himself.

Heading to the final test, Aizawa throws Midoriya a ball so he can go first.

"Ye-yes sir!" Midoriya accidently salutes like Hiroko did earlier causing the class to lose it, but the single glare from Aizawa helps everything go quiet for a moment.

Everyone starts cheering for Midoriya as he gets into position. The cheering causes Aizawa to groan at their collective energy.

Aizawa notices everyone except Bakugo, Todoroki, and Hiroko that is. Piquing his curiosity even more from what he's seen with the student interaction throughout the day.

A/N: Love the quirk test and all the little interactions that took place during it. Next chapter will give the final results of the test and we will see if everyone makes it :/
