"Everyone! Line up into two rows! We need to be ready before the bus arrives," Ida shouts while blowing into the whistle. He tries directing everyone as they come out with their hero costumes. His hand gestures are a whole new level of serious robot slicing motions.
"The power went to his head so quickly," Hiroko whispers to Mina.
"We shouldn't be too surprised after seeing his dramatic efforts to become class rep," Mina points out.
"If you accepted the position you were nominated for this probably wouldn't be happening," Kirishima states.
"Hey," Hiroko hesitates and drops her head. "You are probably right. I kinda regret it now seeing him like this."
"Quit complaining you idiot! Get on the bus already," Bakugo snaps. He walks right passed Ida, ignoring the whistle and shouting directed at him.
Hiroko, Mina, and Kirishima follow after him, realizing the rest of the class has also ignored Ida's directions and leisurely gone on. The seats on bus are scattered so everyone randomly takes a seat.
Hiroko sees a seat available next to Mineta; she cringes at the thought. Then sighs a breath of relief to see there is still a spot available further back. Hiroko walks up to the empty seat in back and glares seeing Todoroki sitting there.
She sighs again and thinks to herself, At least he is asleep and still preferable to the other option.
She looks back to mentally remind herself of why its better to see Mineta starring at her with waves of creepiness coming off him. She quickly sits down next to Todoroki trying to avoid eye contact with the creepy purple blob who she can feel is boring holes into her.
"I can get through this. I am striving to become a hero. Don't kill the twerp out of a random whim," Hiroko whispers to herself in hopes of calming down. She quickly looks up to see he's drooling.
Hiroko's eye twitches and she growls through gritted teeth, "I'm going to kill him without a second thought."
Hiroko breaks out of her thoughts of murder after hearing Kirishima complimenting her, Bakugo, and Todoroki for having ideal flashy quirks.
"You think Hiroko's quirk is flashy?" Hagakure asks.
"Hell yeah she can move almost anything or make herself glide with ease. Its totally an impressive quirk," Kirishima smiles a full toothy grin.
Thanks, Kirishima, Hiroko thinks with a slight blush.
"That's true. Although Bakugo is always angry and won't be that popular," Tsu states plainly.
Bakugo lip twitches and a vein appears on his forehead, "WHAT DID YOU SAY! I'll kick your ass!"
Kaminari laughs, "We've only known you a few days and already know your personality is trash."
"Say that again and I'll kill you!" Bakugo continues.
"Calm down Barkugo. There are plenty of heroes that intimidate people and are still popular," Hiroko says casually.
"What the hell did you call me?" Bakugo turns around to her.
Hiroko realizes she just called him Barkugo in front of the whole class. She's been calling him that in her head every time he goes off. This time though it slipped by mistake. She covers her mouth as if it will undo her slip of the tongue, "I -uh. Didn't mean. I"
Kaminari bursts out laughing, "That is a perfect name for you Barkugo. You should consider it for your hero name."
"It would make you less intimidating with that hero name," Tsu states without any fear.
Hiroko is covering her entire face with her mask now and trying to ignore the rest of the conversation. Jiro is sitting across the aisle and takes sympathy on her. Jiro nudges her. Making Hiroko turn her head cautiously.
"Want to listen to music," Jiro asks while passing an earbud to Hiroko.
Hiroko frantically nods. The two of them listen to music the rest of the ride. Happy to tune out the snarling maniac sitting in front of them.
The class arrives as the USJ. Hiroko and Jiro continue to listen to music as they make their way off the bus.
"I can't believe you like the remix versions by Mouse Trap and Weird Albert too!" Hiroko exclaims.
"How can someone not like it?! The way the rhythm and words seem to mesh into a completely different song so perfectly is incredible," Jiro beams
"We need to exchange playlists," Hiroko suggest. Jiro nods in full agreement.
They get interrupted by the rest of the class coming to an abrupt stop in front of them. Jiro puts her music player away and they both pay attention to the astronaut standing at the entrance of the building.
"Hello class and welcome to the USJ!" the astronaut announces. "I am Thirteen and will be one of your three instructors today."
All the students are excited to realize she is one of the best rescue heroes. The fanning goes to an extreme when they all begin making their way inside the building.
Thirteen continues, "As you can see this building contains a variety of terrains that will mimic various disaster zones you will come across as a hero."
Hiroko gets a bit distracted and starts walking to one of the railings to see everything more clearly. She is jumping up and down as if to leap over the railing. She looks back to wave over her friends when she notices Bakugo starring at her and rolling his eyes.
"What's his problem? It's not like it's news to anyone that he is a hothead that yells," Hiroko tries to reassure herself. She can't help, feel a little guilty especially if the other students start calling him that.
Hiroko looks back to absorb the different zones and the different challenges each could face.
A gasp from the students and the fountain begins to sputter. This causes Hiroko to focus in on the area directly below the main stairs. A strange purple gas like mass appears.
"Mr. Aizawa. Thirteen what is that purple cloud?" Hiroko asks pointing down near the fountain.
Aizawa runs over to get a closer look, "Thirteen get the class together and stay back!"
"What is going on?" Uraraka asks.
"I don't know," Momo replies.
"Everyone quickly, group together," Thirteen commands.
"Who are all those people?" Kirishima asks taking a step from the group seeing a hoard of terrifying looking people come from the purple haze.
"STAY BACK!" Aizawa shouts with authority.
The students flinch, they never heard their teacher so stern before. Hiroko's brows crease taking in all the events and concluding in a clear statement, "Villains."
Mina's mouth is wide open after overhears Hiroko. Only for it to be confirmed by Aizawa.
A/N: The USJ arc is so good. How they get to show off their quirks while also being reckless teenagers. It has everything. Hope you enjoy my adaptation. Thanks for reading.
