Hiroko gets to school a little later than her usual super early morning, "There are a lot more people around than I thought there would be. I didn't get up that late from normal, did I?"
"There's a student!" a report and camera crew come running up to Hiroko.
"What do you think of All Might? Is he a good teacher? Does he add more value here than being the Number One hero?" Questions bombard Hiroko and she isn't even sure which way the entrance is anymore.
Hiroko is unsure what to do and freezes for a second, "I'm -ugh -not sure. What was the first question again?"
Hiroko feels her hand being grabbed and yanked from the hoard of reporters. "MOVE OUT OF OUR WAY! We are trying to get to class!" Crackling can be heard before the reporters provide an opening that she is pulled through by her rescuer.
Hiroko follows glad someone was able to step in and help her. She gets a clearer look to see it's Bakugo that is pulling her through the crowd. She feels her cheeks flush from the protective act and seeing how their fingers are interlocked.
When they get through the gates Hiroko finds her voice, "Thanks Bakugo. I didn't know what to do in that situations."
"You dummy, they are reporters. You will have to learn to deal with them eventually if you want to be a real Pro," he rolls his eyes at Hiroko.
Hiroko goes quiet, "You're right. I'm more use to avoiding the public eye than trying to be in it."
Bakugo doesn't understand what you mean. Then he notices your hands are still intertwined. He takes a step a way freeing his hand, "Next time tell them to get lost."
Hiroko smiles at his crude and yet very effective method to deal with reporters. She takes a detour to the lunchroom to see if Lunch Rush has any pastries available to help improve her morning. To her delight there are a bunch of them.
"May I take a few to my class? I have a feeling they had a rough morning with those reporters like I did," Hiroko explains to Lunch Rush.
"Of course. Take as many as you like," he encourages. "I can't believe the media would be so desperate they think its ok to harass minors like that."
"Its crazy! I didn't even know who was asking what," Hiroko explains thinking back on her earlier encounter and help from Bakugo. "Any chance you have any spicy buns ready too?"
Lunch Rush looks over his shoulder and sees a few ready, "here's three that are cool enough to take now."
"Thank you very much Lunch Rush! You are the best!" Hiroko gives the biggest closed eye smile that it would be impossible to miss even with her mask on.
Hiroko heads straight to 1-As classroom to share the goodies she snagged. Not too many classmates are here yet and most are friends with him, so she decides it's now or never.
"Hey Bakugo," Hiroko greets.
"What do you want now?" Bakugo groans not putting in the effort to even open his eyes.
"Nothing. I got the class some sweet pastries to enjoy, but I heard you prefer spicy," Hiroko starts feeling herself get flushed for no reason. "Here, Lunch Rush had some spicy buns ready too."
Hiroko shoves them in his chest since Bakugo's feet where on the desk. She immediately walks away. Bakugo noticed the pink dusting on her face and smirks.
Bakugo sniffs the buns first and then takes a bite, "Not bad."
Kaminari and Sero watched the whole awkward counter. They don't even wait for Hiroko to get to her seat before teasing her.
"You know Hiroko I prefer Oranges to pastries," Sero taunts earning him a stink eye.
"Burgers those are way better. Can you get us some of those tomorrow," Kaminari adds on.
Hiroko refuses to let them win, "Orange flavored, black bean burgers might be hard to find I'll see what I can do. I wonder if Lunch Rush can make those special for you at lunch time."
She gives a crooked smile while they both gag at the thought of eating those. Other students funnel in grabbing the snacks and enjoying having something to improve their morning after that mob of reporters.
"I couldn't even get to the gate," Oraraku explains. "Then Aizawa showed up and scared them away so the rest of us could get in."
"I heard they set off the security measures and some of the 1-B students got trapped outside," Aoyama laughs.
"Those poor students they will be bombarded with questions until the school can reset the system," Momo sympathizes.
"Hey quiet down. Oh croissants," Aizawa grabs one as he walks to his desk in front of the class. "I had a chance to look over your results from the Battle Trials. As a class overall you did well. Bakugo you're talented but don't sulk like a child over one loss. Midoriya I see you got hurt again, start working harder on improving your quirk you can't keep getting injured while on missions especially with a quirk that strong."
The class lets out a sigh not being criticized for anything else from yesterday. There calm is broken when Aizawa continues.
"We have something to figure out before homeroom is over and knowing all of you," Aizawa eyes the entire class. "You are going to need the entire period to choose your class representative and deputy."
Hiroko sits back and watches the utter chaos ensue over who should be the Rep.
"I would be the best at it."
"I have the most experience that could benefit everyone."
"I'm the strongest!"
"Everyone quiet down! We need to be organized in choosing the class rep. I suggest we vote," Ida announces.
"But we've only known each other for a few days."
"And everyone will only vote for themselves."
"There's no other way to be fair let's try at least," Ida tries to convince the class. They all reluctantly agree since no one has other ideas.
Everyone hands in their votes, "We have Izuku Midoriya with the most, three votes. Then we have some trouble with deputy. "Momo Yaoyorozu and Hiroko both got two so I'm not sure who wins," Ida explains.
"Who voted for Midoriya? I want names right now!" Bakugo shouts.
Hiroko stands up getting a deadly glare from Bakugo, "Oh calm down Bakugo. I'm not standing because I voted for Midoriya."
Bakugo tsks at her comment.
Hiroko turns to Midoriya giving a thumbs up, "Congrats though Midoriya you'll do well."
"I'm standing because I would like to resign from the nomination. Thank you for whoever voted for me and I'm sorry to disappoint, but I think Momo will have a better head for this type of thing. I wouldn't want to let the class down."
"Are you sure Hiroko?" Mina asks.
"Yep," Hiroko says popping the p. "I truly believe Momo would lead our class to new heights."
"Thanks," Momo says passing Hiroko's desk before walking to the front of the class with Midoriya.
"We are grateful to be chosen to represent our class. Thank you for the opportunity to prove ourselves," they both say in unison.
Aizawa gets up from his sleeping position in the corner, "So this is your decision?" No one responds, "Ok this works for me since it's done before the end of class."
