Chapter 9

JENNIE'S POV

Our second day here has been a lot of fun. I've had a lot of fun watching the staff participate in the activities, and I can see they're having a good time. The staff here is quite accommodating, and I appreciate how they thoroughly prepare everything and ensure that the plan is followed to. Seulgi did an excellent job of not having me regret my decision to stay with them. While watching the employees, I sit close enough to the activity area to watch what's going on without being bumped by the employees who are playing.

"Good morning Ms. Kim" I heard someone speak behind me 

"Oh, hi good morning to Ms..?"

"Drop the Ms. just call me Jisoo, do you mind if I join you?" she said with a smile, pointing to the empty chair beside me.

"No, I don't, and you are welcome to sit here," I replied, flashing her my most beautiful smile.

"Here got you some drinks" she says as she hands me the juice she's holding in her other hand.

"Oh, thank you appreciate it" 

"Are you having fun?" she said while watching 

"Yeah, you guys really did a great job" 

"It was Seulgi's, you know what's my only contribution since I arrived?" 

"What?" 

"Aside from my beautiful presence and charisma I also brought with me my deadly smile" she continued, winking at me and making a gun gesture.

"Ahh!" I put my hand on my chest acting as if I a bullet hit me with her bang 

"Hahahaha! You're so cute Ms. Kim"

"Just call me Jennie"

She just smiled at me and we continue to watch the activity. I enjoyed talking to Jisoo she's so funny, my stomach hurts from laughing the whole time that we're having a conversation because of her jokes. We were able to talk about our personal lives, and I was able to get to know her more by sharing information about her family and company, just as I did. She's nice and easy to get along with, and I feel comfortable sharing my stories with her, even if she will occasionally make jokes about me that will not offend me. Seulgi's friends are incredible, and it's likely that's why Seulgi changed. 

They're playful and appear to be womanizers, but in reality, they're responsible and courteous, and the three of them have enough differences to keep them together. I can't blame them if girls make the first move merely to catch their attention because they're both really attractive in their own ways.

JISOO'S POV

Ring, Ring ...

Ring , Ring...

When I hear my phone ring, I extend my arms towards my side table. It's Seulgi, I checked the caller ID with half an eye open because the phone's light bright hurting my eyes.

"Hello?"

"Hey where are you?"

"In my room sleeping, why?"

"It's already dinner time you're still sleeping? come out now let's eat we're doing bbq"

"Okay" I replied as I am still sleepy

I hang up and placed my phone next to me. After watching beach volleyball with Jennie, I decided to relax in my room because I was exhausted from cheering and laughing with her. I couldn't help but smile when I remembered how she laughed earlier, she's adorable, and her image is perfect. She's a very down-to-earth person, and her compassion for her employees is evident, despite the fact that she's the boss. Her demeanor is great, and she values them so much that she allows them to relax and enjoy themselves. Maybe that's why she caught Lisa's attention in the first place.
