Chapter 65

JENNIE'S POV

I'm resting on my swivel chair facing my glass wall revealing the whole city lights view of Seoul. Months already passed since Chaeng went back to Korea and got the project here. I still don't know what happened with Suzy and her, after the latter went back to Australia Chaeng never mentioned her again. I tried to asked her but I guess she's not ready to talk about it yet, every time I tried to open up she keeps on avoiding the topic.

"Jennie, let's go" my thoughts were cut when I heard Irene

We decided to go out tonight since tomorrow is weekends and also Chaeng invited us out as she wants to introduce to us her new friend/boss. She's always telling me stories about her friend which happens to be her boss too, which made me curious and wanting to meet that so called friend of hers.

I grabbed my bag and walked out to my office as Irene and Seulgi is already waiting outside the room. I locked the door behind me and proceed to Irene's table seeing this love birds too close to each other as if they're making out. I let out a fake cough to caught their attention, which made them look at my direction

"Let's go?" I asked while raising my brow

"Hey, why so grumpy" Seulgi said while approaching me with a smirk

"I'm not you're about to eat my bestfriend inside my company pervert" I teased and slap her shoulder, Irene just shook her smiling

"Oh don't exaggerate it Jennie, you don't want me to show you the difference if eating and kissing her do you?" Seulgi teased back

"Yah! Such a perv! Let's go, Chaeng might be there already" I said and walked inside the elevator while the two love birds followed me laughing

Chaeng told me that she'll be waiting for us at Mino's bar as she'll be going there with her friend and didn't brought her car, well she can ride with me going home later. I hopped inside my car when we reached the parking lot and beep twice to Seulgi as a sign that I'm ready to go. Well Mino's bar is just 15 minutes away from the office that's the reason also why we always choose to hang out there.

After what happened with Mino and I in the passed we decided to just forget about it as I'm also at fault that time. So far we're good as friends, though he's still trying to be romantic to me sometimes, even if he already knew that I don't see him that way. While driving I got a message to Chaeng, she said they're already at the bar, I didn't reply back since we will see each other later.

I retouched my lipstick and face powder before going out of my car as I am already at the parking lot of the bar. I got out of my car when I saw Seulgi's car already arrived and waited for them to got out and proceed to the door entrance. The bar is full today since its Friday but good thing is we're a regular here and the owner is our friend so no need for us to fall in line and wait for our turn to enter. The bouncer have us enter to the VIP door, I'm the first to enter while the love birds are at my back.

I'm now scanning the crowd looking for Chipmunk, there are a lot of people tonight that took me couple of minutes to see her. I gaze to the right side are of the bar then to the center going to the left side when I saw Chipmunk approaching the service bar.

"Chipmunk!" I yelled and wave my hand while walking towards her

"Unnie!" She waved back with her wide smile

"Where are you going?" I asked while giving her a peck on the cheeks

"I'll just asked for a whiskey and I was about to call you again but I guess no need for that since you're here already" she said and said hi to Seulgi and Irene
