Chapter 87

THIRD PERSON'S POV

2 days already passed after the night at Lisa's unit. After  that wild night Jennie never received any message or seen Lisa. She woke up the next day with an empty bed beside her no notes or messages from the tall girl. It's a bit frustrating on Jennie's end not hearing anything from Lisa, they weren't able to talk about what happened so she decided to go to Lisa's bar instead of just waiting the tall girl.

Hours passed and it's already nine in the evening when Jennie arrived at the bar. There are lots of people already even though it is weekdays. She roam her eyes around to see where Lisa is but she cannot find the woman. She went to the service bar and ask the barista to make her some drinks.

"Moscow mule please" she said to the barista and the guys nod and smile to her and proceed to mix her request. After few minutes the barista gave her the drink and flash a wide smile. "Uhm sorry to ask, is Lisa here tonight?" she asked the guy while roaming her eyes around

"Ah yes ma'am, I think she's in her office having a meeting since  someone is eyeing to rent the whole bar" the guy answered which made the small girl look at the direction if Lisa's office

"Oh really, that's nice" Jennie uttered and drink her vodka

After few minutes she saw Lisa going out of her office with a man leading him downstairs. Jennie finished her drink when she saw Lisa already went back inside her office as she also wants to talk to the latter. She walk upstairs and saw Lisa's door half open which made her think that the tall girl is done with her meeting so maybe she can talk with her already.

She saw Lisa's secretary leaning on Lisa's table facing the tall girl, but Jennie got confuse why's her secretary too close to her. She tried to listen what they're talking about but she can't hear anything so she tried to lean her head more to the open space on the door.

"Lisaa"  she heard the girl calling the tall girl but her voice cracking

"I said get out!" Lisa yelled which startled Jennie

She was about to leave when suddenly someone pull the door from the inside which made her fall on the floor in front of Lisa. Jennie immediately stand up and fix herself looking down on the floor. Her face are red as a tomato because of humility.

"Get out now!" Lisa yelled again which startled the small girl and panic not knowing what to do.

Lisa's secretary get out immediately and the small girl is about to follow her when suddenly Lisa pull her again inside and shut the door. Jennie's shaking because of nervousness because Lisa's so furious and humility that the tall girl saw her eavesdropping.

"What are you doing here" Lisa asked her with serious voice while holding her wrist

"So--sorry" I stuttered

"What the fuck you're doing here?!" Lisa again yelled and gripped harder on Jennie's wrist

Jennie's heart beat is raising, her breathing becomes heavy and   tears are started to well up. This is the first time that Lisa yelled at her to think that she's not even doing anything. Yes she's listening to their conversation but it is too much for Lisa to act that way towards her. The small girl started crying and pull her arms with all force away from Lisa's gripped. She run outside the tall girl's office and directly went to her car and drove away from the bar.

LISA'S POV

After my meeting with the client and the encounter with Jennie I decided to went home early as my blood is really boiling earlier that it really pissed me off and yelled at Jennie. I think I scared her because of what I did. I even gripped her wrist too hard for sure it will leave a bruise which I really didn't mean to do. I was angry with what Joy did and my blood boils even more seeing Jennie earlier. I know she saw what Joy is doing earlier and I don't want her to get the wrong idea about it.
