Chapter 88

JENNIE'S POV

Two days passed since I went back to Seoul. I decided to go home since I'm done with my business in Busan and I already did what I needed to do. I need to go back as well since Irene is already bugging me and Chaeyoung is leaving at the end of the week. Though I am not successful with the main reason why I stayed in Busan but I'm still happy that I tried my luck for the last time.

I felt sad to be honest but maybe this is what meant to happen. Maybe our story already ended a long time ago and we just can't accept it because we felt we came short during those times that the universe gave us that opportunity. Loving someone is not easy it takes alot of courage to really give yourself all out. Maybe me and Lisa are just meant to love one another but we are not meant to be together, but still I'm happy that I was able to meet someone like her. Someone who always push the red button to hit my triggering point of becoming a dragon but also a sweet little pea who never fails to make me feel so special and make me feel my worth.

"Jen your phone is ringing" my train of thoughts were cut when I heard Irene's voice. I look at her and she gestured looking at my phone as it keeps on ringing since earlier. I look down at the table and saw the caller ID its Chaeng

Chaeng: Unnie ! What keeps you from answering the phone?

Me: Sorry I didn't notice. What is it?

Chaeng: don't forget later okay? You promise that you'll go  with me  later

Me: yeah I know I won't forget. Should I pick you up?

Chaeng: no need. I'll meet you there

Me: okay see you.

I will accompany Chaeng later since their company will be having a farewell party for those who were re-assigned from different country. I'm a bit hesitant to accompany her at first since there are high chances that I will see Lisa there since that's one of her company but I can't say no to Chaeng the party is really important for her. Even if Lisa will be there nothing will change still we can't be together so I just let it go and be there for Chaeng.

I finished reviewing all the documents submitted by the employees and also signed the urgent one since I can't finish all of them within the day. I told Irene that I will accompany Chaeng so I need to leave the office earlier than usual. I arrived at the venue 15mins. before the program started. I texted Chaeng when I arrived and she's already at the venue.
