Chapter 57

DAHYUN'S POV

Today is a lovely day, and there's nothing more I could ask for after hearing that Jennie and Lisa had broken up, I guess my plan really worked. Now that Jennie is no longer in the picture, I can easily get Lisa's attention, and she'll eventually come to me. I'm getting ready to go to Lisa's house since now is the best time for her to need someone to lean on, and now is also the best time for me to show her that I am the one she needs, not Jennie.

knock knock 

"Yeah?" I answered as someone is knocking on my door 

"Ms. Dahyun, your cousin is downstairs she's looking for you" the maid behind the door said 

"Alright, tell her I'll be there in a minute" I answered and continue to put on my lipstick

That didn't surprise me in the least. Maybe she's here because she already knows what happened to Lisa and Jennie. I'm glad she's here, I'm curious to hear what happened when they found the drive, I believe it's time for a story. I can't stop giggling as I imagine their reactions seeing the video I made. I gathered my stuff and exited my room, walking downstairs.

I saw this woman going back and forth in my living room, her hands on her waist, while I stood on the last step of the staircase. I walked towards her as if I were in a pageant, swinging my hips sexily and carrying my bag on my arm.

"Hi there my beautiful cousin" I said approaching her "It was nice to see you here" I stop in front of her beside the couch 

"Is that the plan that you're telling me?" she asked

"Oh, so that's the reason why you're here" I raised my brow and sit on the couch with my legs crossed "I hope you like it. No need to flatter me cuz, I know my plan worked"

"Yeah it really worked. Jennie broke up with Lisa, she hates her" 

"Well, that good news!" I exclaimed and stand on my feet "If you'll excuse me I still need to go to Lisa" I said and turned my back at her, when she suddenly grabbed my arms which made me stop

"Are you fucking serious?!" she yelled with anger in her eyes

"Do I look like joking to you?!" I said sarcastically

"Didn't I told you to stay away from Lisa?! Stay away from the both of them!" she's gripping my arm harder which made me flinched

"You're hurting me Jisoo!" I said trying to pull back my arm from her 

"I warned you Dahyun, but you didn't listen to me!" she threw my arms with force which made me stumble in the couch "Lisa will never love you, because her heart belongs to one person only and you know that!" 

"I don't care! Jennie left her and sooner or later she'll learn to love me!" 

"Are you that desperate huh?! You're willing to ruin someone's life just to get what you want?! Stop being delusional Dahyun, she will never love you!"

"We're just the same Jisoo! That's why we're cousins right? We both love the person that we know will never love us back!" I smirk at her

"No Dahyun, I'm nothing like you. Yes, I love Jennie and I know she will never love me back the way I want it but I cannot ruin her life or Lisa's just to get what I want, which I already knew that is not possible in the first place" she said and approach me "This is the last time I'll tell you this, stay away from Lisa and Jennie or---" 

"Or what huh?!" I didn't let her finished

She lean towards me to reduce the space between our faces " Or I'll tell uncle about all the crap you're up to here in Korea, and I'm sure you won't like it." she said and sit on the center table in front of me "I heard this is your last chance to prove that you're deserving of being the heir of the Kim Empire, and if you make one more mistake, you'll lose everything, the Kim Empire, Kim's name, and your own family," she said, smirking. "Don't force me cousin, even if we're of the same blood, I will not tolerate your foolishness, and you also know that between your words and mine, uncle will believe me" she said tapping my cheeks with her palm

"Fuck you!" I'm furious but she's right and I cannot lose this chance 

"Oh fuck you too! It was nice seeing you cuz" she said and wink at me before walking out of my sight

I throw my bag because I'm so upset and annoyed with her the same time. How did she knew about the agreement with my father? Did she hire a private investigator just find something to blackmail me? What the fuck should I do?! Agh! Fuck! I walked to the wine bar as I need alcohol to calm me down and think of another plan to win Lisa.

JISOO'S POV

My blood started to boil earlier seeing her as if she's proud of what he did to Lisa and Jennie, I can't believe that we share the same blood such a jerk! I drove away from that place before I loose myself and forgot that we're blood related.

Yes, Dahyun is my cousin even if I don't want to that's the truth and that's the reason also I am against Lisa involving herself to her. She's a brat, trouble maker, a selfish bitch and always been the blackship in the family and the only person that can tame her is her dad. I don't know what happened to her growing up since we never spend time together when we were kids.

Their family decided to stay in Japan where her dad started the Kim Empire . Her family is more conservative that ours, legacy of the family is the most important for her dad, being a Kim is like a title that should never be tainted for them. Well, uncle let Dahyun stay here in Korea to study,  to prepare and prove herself deserving handling the Kim Empire.

I admit it I still love Jennie but I respect Lisa, she's my bestfriend   and I value her more than what I feel for Jennie. I know she's also at fault why Jennie left her but it's not enough reason for me to take advantage with the situation. All I want now is for them to fix their problem as I know that they really love each other and I'll be happier if they'll get back together. I still believe that at the end of all this their soul will find its way to one another, no matter how they avoid it, they cannot resist it.
