Chapter 23

LISA'S POV

I saw how Jennie startled with what I said. She just looked at me and keep her silence. I don't know what's going on inside her mind but I can see that she didn't expect those words coming from me. I face her and grab her right hand, I hold it with my two hands caress it gently and land a kissed on the back of her hand.

"I really like you Jennie, maybe things went too fast and out of control the first time that we met but I know deep down in my heart what I'm feeling for you right now is pure and true. I will make sure that this time I am the one who will be chosen, I can't loose you Jennie I can't let that happen"

Confessing my love for her made my heart pounds harder, I felt like the pounding will make my ribs broken. I want her to know how I felt before this night end, I don't want to let her hanging with a lot of questions in her mind. I mean everything that I said Jennie, I will not let Jisoo win this time.

She's still in the middle of taking all the things that I've said. I think she's really shocked hearing those words from me. I saw her face blushed the moment that I confessed to her, she can't choose what are the best words to say after hearing those. I put my hands on her shoulder and squeeze it gently and asked her.

"Hey are you okay?"

"I-i, A-ah, yeah I'm okay I just don't know what so say" she said and bow her head and look down

"Hey, eyes on me" I grab her chin and lead her head up to look at me

"You don't need to say anything, I just want you to know what I really feel for you, don't worry I will wait until you're ready to let me enter those doors" I said to lessen her worries if ever she is

"Thank you, I really enjoyed the night. Thank you for choosing this place, it's beautiful and I had fun"

"You're welcome honey, it's always my pleasure" she just smiled at me and nod

"Do you want to grab some tea before we go home?"

"Yep that would be great" she nod and smiled at me

We grab some tea before we decided to go home. This night is one of the best night that I had with Jennie. Well, spending time with her is always the best time for me. I just felt that this night is different we just enjoyed the time talking and sharing our insight with things and in that way I was able to see different sides of her. We just arrived to her unit, it's already late but Jennie said that it's fine since she doesn't have work tomorrow.

"Do you want to go inside?" Jennie asked me as we're now standing in front of her unit's door

"Uhm, no maybe next time. I know you're tired, you should rest" this is the second time that I rejected her offer, it's not that I don't want to but that's her safe place I don't want to have a memory inside her unit until we're not official, I don't want to invade it with memories in the event that she will not accept me in her life.

"Okay, goodnight then" I just nod and turn my back and walk towards the elevator

"Uhm Lisa" she called which made me stop and look at her

"Mmmh?" I hummed as an answer

"Thank you, I had fun" she said while giving me her gummy smile

"You're welcome, I'm happy that you had fun" I said and smiled at her and gesture that I'll get going as the elevator already arrived. She just smiled back and closed the door.

I walk out the elevator with a wide smile, I can't hide the happiness that I am feeling, knowing that she had fun is somewhat an achievement for me. I never felt like this before, my feelings for Jennie is way different from what I felt for Sunmi before, I think this one is deep. Every time Jennie is around me it feels like home I feel complete, I'm afraid what will be the end of this but whatever it is I'm willing to risk my heart for her.

IRENE'S POV

"Yaaah! for real?!" Jennie shouted as she was shocked with what I said

"Yep"

"When did it happened?"

"Just last night, Seulgi asked me to be her girlfriend so I said yes, I don't see any reason for me not to say it"

"I'm so happy for your! We should celebrate" Jennie exclaimed while giving me a hug

"Speaking of that, yes we will celebrate later at Mino's Bar"

"Okay I'm in! does Mino already know about it?"

"Not yet, that jerk is really busy and still out of the country maybe when he arrived we can celebrate with her"

"Yeah that's a great idea"

"How about you?" I asked her pertaining her status between Jisoo and Lisa

"What about me?"

"Jennie stop that innocent act, you know what I am talking about and you know that I don't buy that you being so innocent"

"I don't know yet"

"You know it Jennie all along you already know the answer you're just afraid to make a choice. You cannot keep them both, you will hurt both of them if you will continue that. You need to decide and take the risk same as what they've done for you, don't play safe that's being unfair you know that"

"Yeah I know that, I'm just afraid what if made a wrong choice?"

"So what if you did? Who cares? The most important Jennie is choose what you want and what makes you happy"

"What if I will regret that in the end?"

"You will only have regrets if you didn't choose what you really want. You're smart Jennie making decision on this is just a piece of cake for you, just listen to what you're heart and mind is saying"

"What if my heart and mind says different things?"

"Then check who's more important to you the one your heart is beating or the one your mind is telling you. You know the answer Jennie don't get beaten up with your fears because we both know that it will not lead you into a good outcome"

"But--" I didn't let her finished

"Jennie, if you really love that person no more ifs and buts that's what you called taking risk. You will never know what will happen next if you didn't even started anything yet. Made up your mind and decide now before you loose both of them"

"Okay, I understand"

"That's good by the way both of them will be joining us later"

"Yeah, I expected that already" she said while looking at her laptop

"Well they're on the same circle what more should you expect"

"Shall we go together later? we can use my car"

"Nope, Seulgi will pick me up, let's just meet there" I said and flipped my hair

"Whoaw, okay okay" she laughed on how I flip my hair as if telling her that I have a girlfriend that will drive for me
