Chapter 24

JENNIE'S POV

I'm now in front of my vanity mirror inside my private room, I retouched my light make up since we'll leave any minute from now to celebrate at Mino's bar. I'm so happy for Irene, her and Seulgi looks perfect together at some point they know how to compromised with each other based on Irene's stories, which is I think a good sign. On the other hand I'm still thinking about who to choose, is it what my heart is beating or what my mind is telling me, I really need to decide as early as now before everything gets deeper. You can do this Jennie, just do what will makes you happy and you truly desire, for sure they will understand whatever your decision will be. My thoughts were cut when I heard Irene 

"Jennie, let's go" 

"Yeah, coming no need to shout!"

I walked out my private room and saw Irene standing on the door while holding the door to keep it open. I walked to her direction and she's saying something but I can't get it since she's just mouthing it, I just respond to her with a confused look.

"I can't get you, what is it?" I said and passed by her while fixing my bag and checking for my car key

"Hi Jennie" I think it's Seulgi who greeted me but I didn't greet back since I'm looking for my car key

"Hello Jennie" she greeted me again

"Hi Seulgi" I greeted back while still looking at my bag as I can't find my key "You go ahead guys I'll just check my key inside I think I left it in my drawer" I said while walking back to my office door's direction still checking every sides of my bag 

"I can give you a ride" I heard two voices said it in unison

I look back as I'm confused who just said it. My eyes widen seeing both Jisoo and Lisa standing beside Seulgi. I looked at Irene who just closed the door. 

"The door is already locked, just take a ride with them" she said while walking to Seulgi's  direction

"I think this two wants to give you a ride Jen, you just need to choose" Seulgi said and flashed an annoying smile 

"A-ah, no need I'll just get my key I have a car, Irene can I have the key of this door" 

"Jennie come on just ride with them or if you want you can join us in the car" she suggested but that's not a great idea I don't want to invade their moment together

"No it's fine just give me the key of my office so I can get my key" 

"Okay, let's make this easy, I think Jennie don't know yet who to choose" Seulgi smirk and speak again "Hey you two just do rock, paper, scissor so we can go, who wins will be the one to give Jennie a ride" 

The two followed her and immediately did a rock, paper, scissor before they start I saw how Lisa looked at me as if asking me to just ride with her but I want it to be fair so I just shrugged it off. 

"Okay, that's it, easy right?" Seulgi exclaimed and put her arms on Irene's shoulder

"Shall we go now?" Irene looked at me and walked with Seulgi  towards the elevator

We all walk inside the elevator and wait for it to reach the parking lot. Irene and Seulgi is talking about something while her arms are wrapping Irene's shoulder. This two, hello we're here you know tsk! Lisa and Jisoo remain silent while I'm feeling really awkward right now, I didn't imagine that this will be like this I feel suffocated by their silence. 

ting!

I felt relieved hearing that sound as we arrived the parking lot, I took a deep breath and walk out. 

"Jennie, let's go?" Jisoo opened the door in the front sit and asking me to enter I just nod and walked inside

Sitting inside Jisoo's car I saw Lisa's eyes rolled at me before entering her car, she looks really annoyed. She starts her engine and intentionally stepping on the gas with a neutral gear to make her car produce a loud noise. 

"Hey, don't mind her, she's just being a kid" Jisoo said, maybe she saw Lisa earlier

"Ah yeah" I said and nod at her 

She smiled at me and I smiled back at her I was surprised when she lean forward reducing the distance between our faces, my eyes widen while she's smiling at me. she looked at my seat belt and buckle it.

"Don't forget your seat belt" she moved back to her sit and I was left frozen

My eyes land on Lisa's direction and I saw her eyes are furious because of what Jisoo did. This is not good, I think she did it on purpose since she know that Lisa will see it. Taking a ride either of them is not a great idea but I'm already here I can't do anything. Seulgi honk her horn as a signal that we'll leave now.

"Are you okay?" Jisoo asked

"Yes, I am why?"

"Nothing, you look gorgeous tonight" she said while doing quick glances to me

"Only tonight?"

"Haha.. you look gorgeous everyday Jennie, you're perfect"

"Tss, stop flattering me"

"I'm just telling the truth"

I just smiled at her and look outside the window.

"Jennie?"

"Mmh?" I hummed to answer her

"I love you"

My heart beats faster, I can't find the right words to say. Hearing those words from Jisoo made my whole body filled with nervousness, sweats are starting to drip on my skin, my hands are cold and I can't move.

"Hey, relax I'm not expecting for you to answer back if you're not yet ready, I just want you to know that" she hold my hand to make me calm and glance at me to see my reaction

"Thank you, sorry I didn't expect that coming"

"Haha.. It's okay, I understand"

As always Jisoo is so gentle and always making sure that she's not making me uncomfortable. That's what I really like about her, she never fail to consider my emotion first before hers. She always makes me feel that she understand my decision even if I'm not giving her any explanation.

After how many minutes we already arrived at Mino's bar. Jisoo opened the door for me and I saw Lisa already walked inside the bar. I hope she's not mad, I don't want to create any trouble between her and Jisoo.

"Don't worry, Jisoo can handle her" Seulgi approached me as she saw me looking at Lisa's direction

"Come on let's go inside" Irene grab my wrist and pulled me towards the entrance
