Hey so today I'll be going over the rules of my Death Battles and explain my thought process and how I make these.
1: Requests are always accepted. I'll always be open for requests so don't hesitate to ask.
2: Don't Spam me with messages asking "iS mY rEQUeST DOnE yET?" I won't do a death battle if I get spammed with messages. Don't be like Dylawalker on Wattpad with jade vs cammy. He's the reason this rule exists.
3: No prep time ever. I know people are gonna disagree with fights like Batman vs Blake by saying "well if he had prep time he'd win" I'll never do a fight with prep time. It counters the idea of death battle.
4: No Complete stomp matches. There has been fights where one character clearly has advantages over the other but I won't do matches like mulan vs cloud, Raphael vs knuckles Weiss vs Lucina. It's too obvious who wins. Mulan can't do anything against cloud, Lucina stomps Weiss in everything, and knuckles one shots raph.
5: No Joke/meme matchups. With dbx maybe but with the actual death battle no. Nothing like thanos vs Garfield or Peppa pig vs Superman.
6: No non canon material used unless stated otherwise. I won't use non canon material unless I clearly state it.
7: If I do use a non canon source material for a character then I have to use or at least mention it for the other character. Unless that character doesn't have another source to pull from. It's just about being fair. I don't want to say composite link and give him all his weapons have him fight cloud and give him just his sword.
8: Combatants possess no prior knowledge of each other unless specified by canon or otherwise. Like say for instance Lucina wouldn't know who Adam Taurus or trunks are. But something like movie Sonic knowing who flash is by reading his comics is fully allowed since it's canon.
9: Characters will be treated will full respect and will not go against source material. Unlike the actual death battle I want to treat the characters like how they would In their true series.
10: No bias allowed. If a character loses it's because they lose based of the research that was given. Not because I itslycina wanted them to lose. I love some series more than other but I will admit and be honest who truly wins in these battles. I'll never make an argument like how goomba can defeat the justice league.
11: I'm fully open to criticism. If I make a mistake let me know and if it's bad enough I'll announce it. I'm not perfect. I don't know every series so mistakes are bound to happen.
12: This whole death battle thing is just me basing who would win off of the research. It's all assumptions and not official.
13: I'll never do green lantern vs Ben 10 or Archie sonic vs wally west. Because they would be just me ranting and being pissed instead of an actual death battle.
14: Archie sonic and Rimuru tempest are banned from death battle. Read part 1 and part 2 of their fight to know why.
15: Anyone who curses at me saying I'm wrong or spams comments about how I'm wrong will be blocked.
