You guys will be proud of me! I am literally up to writing chapter 32 😭!! Or as Rony would write, thurdytoo . So to celebrate this unusual victory for me, here is another chapter! I think it is safe to say I am sticking with the plot here 😏. (Bc usually I wait until I am certain I am sticking with the plot before publishing but I think this means it is good...Ok sorry, I guess Rony and I are similar in the sense that we both over explain ourselves).

I don't know why but I randomly felt like hitting the puck against the garage again...
But I've always enjoyed that sound. Again, couldn't tell you why.

It's probably best I call Alek, it's the least I can do considering I left the guy alone with a stranger for my sake. Also, in case you were wondering I did try calling Jasper to check in with her, but no answer..

"Rony..." He laughs. "I think you owe me a big one.."

I smile to myself.

"Yeah I do...I'm rrrreally s-sorry, Man. How are things?"

"Well...I'm back in my dorm at Cornell right now. You should probably keep watch because the porno you recorded is now circulating reddit. It's only a matter of time before the non college folks hear it."

"C-c-can you trace it back?"

"I'm working on that."

"Uhh you're the best, A. I rrrrreally owe you b-big time. How were things with D when I left? And Jjjjjasper?"

"Well you'd better talk to Jasper...she couldn't catch a flight and she just left me to go cry in her dorm. I left only a little while after you did. As far as Devin goes I take it he's having a pretty rough transition to college."

"Yeah right...he's on the sssoccer team with a s-scholarship. It can't b-be that hard.."

"I don't really know..It's just...well you can't tell anyone, especially D ok? You promise?"

"Yeah. Of course. I'm a man of my word..Even if I am n-not a man who is good with wwords."

Alek takes a second and then laughs.

"Hey, that's really a good one..but anyways..I saw some stuff in his dorm room the other day from the counseling center. Like a lot of things. So I don't know what's happening but I feel like Devin's in his own head. You know how he can get."

I mean I know about his superstitions but I always chalked that up to being an athlete. Maybe I was getting all upset with Devin over something beyond his control.

"Now I feel like a dick.."

"It's not your fault.."

"Yyeah but not being a good friend is. I-I've made this whole time about mmme. I should be checking in on y-y-you guys more. Dude, I jjjust found out Miles transferred home and is now dating my sssssister, l-like where hhhave I b-b-b-been?"
I feel my chest tighten as my stutter gets heavier.
