Finally on WiFi! Sorry for the late publish. Here is this Thursday's update! 😊

Your boy is officially a high school graduate.

Our graduation was a few nights ago and it was soo hot.
By hot I don't mean that we were good looking.
I mean, I was looking pretty sharp, but that's besides the point.
I mean it was HOT as balls outside!

It's like it wasn't enough to torture us with thirteen years of public education, they needed to get one last lick out of us!

Anyway, I'm glad that was over and now I can hang my grad cap up on the wall in the living room next to Melle's.
Melle decorates her cap with powdery pink colored paper and big letter stickers that spell "MELLE". Below it is a big cut out of an orange since she went to Syracuse University.
She also put a 12 on one side of the orange and a 16 on the other since she graduated high school in 2012 and college this year in 2016.

How original!

Nah, it is pretty cool.

I'm kind of disappointed because I really wanted to put a cut out of Porky Pig saying "Th-th-th-at's All, Folks!". I saw it on Pinterest (don't judge me, I was forced to make an account for a school assignment) and it would have been so fitting! Not only is it stuttering themed but it also signifies a finale.
Yet, I thought with the big british thing coming up it would be best to not draw any more attention to my voice.

Not even stutter, just voice.

Don't get me wrong, I do have a love-hate relationship with my speech.
Yes, I really do love being a PWS (once again, person who stutters, aka the coolest people you will ever meet), but when it comes to talking to new people, our relationship is all hate.
Especially in large quantities.
And in a new place.

No, I am not still trying to justify to myself I'm making the right choice, I'm sold on this decision.

I'm not nervous, you are!😰

So I ended up decorating my cap with dentist themed stickers I found at Michael's. I also needed something funny, so using green puffy paint I wrote on it: "Remember me when your teeth need help in 2024".
Oh yeah, I don't know if I mentioned my major yet.
Physics on the pre-dental track.
Physics because I'm a science dork.
Pre-dental because I want to be a dentist just like my daddy! 😁🦷

Awwwww, Daddy Boy, I know...
Get your awwwwws out now..

Anyway, you're probably wondering what I'm doing with myself at the moment since I'm not quite at college yet but I'm definitely not in high school anymore. YEEEEHHHAAAA!!!!

Ok, sorry, it took me over 400 words to get to the point, but today I'm visiting my co-workers for my last day before I go off to college. They might send me some jobs to record on my own and send over, but today is my last day seeing them in person and it's pretty bitter-sweet. Even though I'm not leaving town for a while, it's still my last time working before move-in day. That's because we usually have one long recording day at my studio and then we don't meet again for weeks.
I still make good money though even though I'm not here too often because of the long hours and because of one of my favorite words in the world: ROYALTIES.

After a long drive, I pull into the parking lot of South Shore Studios.
Ahh....
I love this place.
I'm only here every few weeks since we usually have one long recording day at my studio.
But I still always remember how much I missed it when I come back.

Gosh darn, Rony! You're crying!
I roll my eyes to myself as I wipe them off with the Greenstown T-shirt I am wearing under my grey and white windbreaker.
Yes, I'm wearing a jacket in July. The studio is always freezing. For those of you wondering what else I'm wearing, I also have on navy blue nylon shorts and a white dad hat on that says "MATTITUCK" on it in white just above an embroidered anchor.

Time to go back.

"LOOK WHO IS HERE!" I yell as I run into the studio with my arms in the air.

"Hey lookie here, it's Pollack!" Ed Dirkstein laughs as he gets up from his desk to greet me.

"Hey, Ed!" I greet him as he pulls me in for a hug.

"I'm going to miss you, Kiddo!"

Ed is the coolest boss ever.
He barely even feels like a boss and actually prefers to be called "the boring" instead of
"the boss" since he is in charge of all the business stuff but he is not actually a voice actor. It's funny because he is like the opposite of boring. He is super well-travelled and is always visiting new countries.

"Rony?! Hi! Oh, I'm going to miss you so much! Greenstown is so lucky to have you!"
Suzan greets me as she hugs me for a while.

Suzan is the sweetest woman.
She plays my mother on my "Super Snail" show and she is the best snail mom a kid could ask for.

I love my coworkers.
I wish everyone can be like the older adults who work in the comedy business.
I feel like they are the best friends I've had, and it's so easy to forget I'm just a kid when I'm with them. There are a few other youngins, but mostly our cast is all adults.
They all know my family too since my parents are my talent agents and discovered this job.

"I'm going to miss you too." I whisper.

"Rony! Where have you been?" Craig Murray greets me with a high five.

"I was just a se-se-se-senior! I had APs and stuff!"

"Ahh, was a senior so you are a graduate now."

"Yessir! And I'm leaving you all after today's recording. I'm in col-col-college now." I exclaim as I hoist myself up on top of the table where we keep the printer and office supplies.

"So any big plans, Rony? I can't believe you will be at my alma mater, GreensU!" Suzan exclaims.

"I know that's so c-cool." I smile.
"There is one thing planned. But can you all promise to keep it between us?"

"No, Rony. I'm going to tell your dad when we go hiking tomorrow." Ed teases me.

"Ok for real. We will. Continue."

"I'm going to pretend to be British in college. So I won't stutter as much."

Everyone just looks at each other, holding back the laughter.

"Well, if you are going to do it...do it right." Ed chuckles.

"Wwwwhat do you mean?" I ask.

Ed crouches under his desk and pulls out a stack of books to hand me.

"Here. I have these old books for when I travel. I kept them all here in case our writers needed a literary reference for one of our shows. I never thought one of my actors would need it but...here you go." Ed tells me while adjusting his glasses.

"Ed...you really don't need to.."

"I know I don't. But I want to get rid of some things. Too much clutter."

I smile.

"Thank you."

"Just read up and don't make a fool of yourself, Kid! Do us proud!" Ed pats my back.

"Leave it to Ed to assign me homework...thank you for everything." I tell him sincerely.

"We are going to miss you, Kid."

I turn back toward the rest of my cast.

"Th-thank you all for everything you have done for me. You are all my heroes."
