"Y/N COOK ME DINNER!" Your so called mother yelled out to you.
"Okay." I replied softly to her and I walked to the kitchen to prepare a meal for her.

3rd persons POV

You lived in a forest in a mountain with your single mother. Your mother was abusive towards you, but you did not mind as she was the only family member that you had.

You listened to her every word and always replied with a smile on your face. (The smile like tanjiro's)

Y/N's POV

Once I was done preparing the food, I served it to her with a smile on my face, "here you go mom! Hope you enjoy your meal! ^v^"

3rd persons POV

Your mother took a look at the food and looked at it in disgust. She always hated you but you did not know the reason as to why.

She took the hot meal and threw it in your face. You cried out in pain as the hot soup spilled on your face leaving a red burn on you left eye.

You covered it in pain as you looked down. You stood up slowly bearing the pain in your eye and bowed to your mother apologising profusely.

She would hurt you and you were so afraid that she would do worse things than throwing the soup at your face.

You asked if she was hurt from the hot soup when she spilled it on you, she just pushed you away and yelled, "GET AWAY YOU DISGUSTING PIECE OF SH*T! YOUR THE REASON WHY YOUR FATHER DIED, YOUR THE REASON WHY HES GONE, I HATE YOU AND I WILL FOREVER!" You stood there in shock from the outburst.

Your POV

'B-But I thought you said you are single... I thought he left you when I was young... Has my life been a lie?...' I thought to myself as tears threatening to spill. I looked down dazed. "I.. I'm sorry.." is all you manage to say in a shaky tone.

This was all so overwhelming to me, what was going on?...

3rd person POV

Your mother slapped you and kicked you in the stomach making you stumble back against the wall. You winced.

Your mother grabbed your collar aggressively and screamed, " THE REASON WHY I TOOK CARE OF YOU ITS BECAUSE YOUR FATHER WANTED ME TO!," she screamed with tears in her eyes, "NOW YOUR OLD ENOUGH TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF YOU SH*T, YOU.. You.." your mother looked down as tears started to fall uncontrollably, she squeezed her eyes shut as she recalled the memories that was flooding back into her mind...

Flashback..

""Y/N SLOW DOWN" your mother called out in a worried tone as you dashed down the mountain.

You laughed in delight as zoomed down the mountain with your father playfully chasing after you.

You stumbled on small rocks as you were very little (maybe 3 years old) you suddenly tripped and you father watched in horror as you started to fall down the mountain.

Your father immediately pounced on you and wrapped his body around you protecting you from the harsh impact of the fall.

Your mother watched from the distance with tears in her eyes calling out both of you as she dashed after two of you.

You squeezed your eyes shut until the you father slammed into a rock coughing out blood.

you cried as you looked at your father's state. Your father looked into your e/c staring lovingly at you. You looked at him as he said "I love you y/n please take care of you mother for me... *cough* I think I snapped my-my spine... I wont live.." as his vision started to blur.

You screamed out "DAADD!" He chuckled softly at this and lift up his shaky hand and stroked your soft h/c(hair color) hair. "Work hard my daughter... I love you so much, make sure to listen to what your mother says. I'll be watching you from above. I know you will make me proud... No matterwhat happens, no matter what challenges *cough* make sure to take it on bravely with a smile on your face..." he stammered out the last part as his eyes started to shut slowly, his eyes full of tears as he gave you one last closed-eyed smile. A warm smile that you will never forget...

Present time:
Mother's POV

I remember my husband's words to my daughter and started to cry.

She looked at me with concern and hugged me. I looked at her with hatred and punched her, SHE was the one who caused my love to die. I do not want a monster to live In my house. "LEAVE!" I yelled at her.

Your POV

I looked at her in shock.My eyes softened. I looked at her lovingly. I grabbed her hands and bowed to her. "Thank you... for taking care of me mom. No matter what I will always love you, take care." I said to her with a gentle look. I gave her a last closed eye smile before going to my room to pack my bag.

I somehow didn't feel anything when she said "leave" maybe more of like relief.
