Chap 55[time for battle]

Your POV

I frowned, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to calm my pounding heart. I opened them again and nodded slightly to myself with determination.

'Let's do this... this is probably the most stupidest idea I have ever had... gosh...' I thought to myself.

The I ran out from behind the tree, "HEY! IM OVER HERE! COME GET ME!" I yelled as I waved my arms around trying to alert the demon. The demon turned and looked at me, he growled and wasted no time to chase me.

I sprinted the opposite direction away from Inosuke so that he can at least escape. I grunted as I ran, 'I'm so stupid for not thinking of what to do next after this step!' I thought to myself as I ran, 'but all I have to do now is cause a distraction...'

Inosuke's POV

'WHAT THE HELL WAS Y/N THINKING?! SHE COULD DIE! DAMMIT! THINK INOSUKE! THINK!! WHAT SHOULD I DO?!' I thought to myself frantically as I crouched down and panted.

I was injured badly, but I need to help y/n! She didn't have her sword with her for some reason so she can't protect herself! I have two swords... but how can I pass it to her?!

I was still trying to think when suddenly Takashi's dog jumped out of the bushes, my eyes widened, "Shinto?"(his name is Shino btw) I said suprised, "What are you doing here?"

The dog just put its paws on my hand, my eyes widened in realisation, I gave the handle of one of my sword to him and gave him a nod, "GO give this to her Shanio! I trust you!" I said to him.

He gave me a slight nod and ran off with full speed.

Takashi's POV

I was running behind Tanjiro, I knew that y/n didn't have her sword, that's why I instructed Shino to follow her.

I also told y/n to help Inosuke instead of Tanjiro because Inosuke has 2 swords.

y/n needed to protect herself, she can't turn into a demon infront of Inosuke, so if she was out of reach from Inosuke, Shino will be the one to pass his extra sword to her.

I just hope that my plan works to keep her safe... this is the best I could do to help her right now...

Your POV

I was running deeper into the woods, turning in different directions behind trees so that I wouldn't be caught easily. I hid behind a tree and crouch down quietly to catch my breath.

I couldn't see the demon so I took the time to at least rest for a few minutes while I think of another plan. I was still thinking when I heard a slight rustling in a Bush a few inches away from me.

I arched an eyebrow, I cautiously pushed away the branches and leaves as quietly as I can so that I wouldn't alert the demon of my presence just incase if he was nearby. When I pushed the leaves and branches, I was suprised to see Shino there holding one of Inosuke's swords in his mouth.

I smiled to myself, Shino put the sword on the ground infront of me and went back into the bushes to hide or probably return to Takashi.

(Extra note: since you met Shino, you didn't touch him or pet him because some of my readers are Muslim and I want y/n to relate you as much as possible ^b^ my readers deserve the best experience)

I picked up the sword, 'So that was your plan when you wanted me to help Inosuke huh Takashi-kun... smart...' I thought to myself with a knowing smirk.

I closed my eyes and focused my energy intot he sword, "Shadow minds..." I whispered to myself. I decided to create an illusion of myself to distract the demon a bit longer so I can head back to Inosuke to heal his wounds.

A black smoke appeared infront of me and when it cleared, a clone of me was standing infront of me. I stood up and nodded towards myself and we both sprinted of opposite directions.

I ran as fast as I can when I came across inosuke who was crouched down behind of the same tree.

"Inosuke!..." I said as I ran towards him, he turned and faced me.

"Y/n! Why did you do that you could've died you know?!" He whispered-yelled. "I know... I'm sorry, but I needed to distract the demon for a bit so I can heal your wounds." I said and I placed the tip of his sword on this chest.

I closed my eyes, "Gentle mist..." I said as water droplets began to form from the sword and land gently on his wounds. He relaxed at the touch and his cuts and bruises began to heal.

Once I was done I removed the sword and helped him up.

"Thanks y/n, but what are we going to do now?" He asked me.

I pondered for a bit, my illusion wasn't going to last long... "Y/N LOOK OUT!" Inosuke yelled as he jumped infront of me, he sliced the incoming tree trunk in half and he landed on the ground.

My eyes widened, "Now it's my turn to thank you..." I said to him with a relieved smile.

But the relief was short-lived when the demon roared and ran towards us with full speed, destroying trees that were in his path.

I gathered energy in my legs and jumped towards the demon at high speed, I slid between its legs and sliced on of them with Shadow strike.

I turned back to see Inosuke trying to cut the demon but to no avail. The demon just threw him of with his muscular giant arms and turned towards me. I grunted. I have no choice.

I closed my eyes and breathed slowly, "Shadow breath: 7th form: Black moon, 10%" I said as I felt power and adrenaline though my veins.

I opened my eyes to reveal pitch black ones and I launched myself to the demon with my strength.
