Your POV

I walked over to Tanjiro's recovery room and saw him talking to Inosuke, Zenitsu, Nezuko and Takashi.

I walked over to them.

"Y/n!" Takashi greeted with a small smile.

I nodded as a greeting, "Did you explain to him what happened?" I asked him, getting straight to the point.

"Yes... he did, and again I'm sorry..." Tanjiro replied for Takashi. Takashi gave a teasing smirk when he saw Tanjiro turn the other way with a small tint of blush on his cheek.

I narrowed my eyes at this, "What did you tell him?" "Don't worry, I just explained the situation, I didn't reveal anything personal." Takashi assured.

Then he turned and face Tanjiro again with another teasing smirk.

Nezuko and Zenitsu just gave a closed eyed smile at this. Inosuke and Aoi looked mad.

"Y/n chan, he apologised to us aswell for hurting you, we decided to forgive him and give him a chance, but-" Aoi said but was interupted by Inosuke.

"IF HE HURTS YOU AGAIN WE WONT HESITATE TO KILL HIM YOU KNOW!" Inosuke yelled.

Tanjiro gulped.

I gave a small smile, "I'm counting on you." I replied.

"Uh, Aoi, I need to speak with then for a moment please, do you mind?" I asked her.

Aoi nodded and walked out.

Once she closed the door behind her, they all turned to me. I took a deep breath.

"So, you know how for every mission we usually go as a group? Well, this time I'm assigned a different mission than all of you with another group." I explained.

They all frowned, "What? Your not serious are you?" Zenitsu asked, then he sighed already knowing the answer.

"Its okay, its just one mission, you guys would probably get assigned another new mission together by the time I've left for mine anyway." I said with a shrug.

"I have one thing to ask by the way," I continued, "Tanjiro, even if I was with Takashi, why would you ignore me or avoid me just to hang out with Kanao, we would still be friends anyway right? Me being with Takashi wouldn't change anything between us. Just saying that this is just an example, we're not together, I just wanted to ask."

"Ah! Th-thats uh..." Tanjiro stuttered as he looked down while blushing, "Its nothing..." he replied.

I crossed my arms, "That doesn't mean you should avoid me you know?" I said.

"You'll know soon enough," Takashi cut in with a smile, "if SOMEONE is brave enough to tell you the reason." He continued with a chuckle.

"Yea, Monjiro is such a wimp... Next to this French fries." Inosuke commented while looking at Zenitsu.

"HEY!"

"Oh! Yeah, y/n, do you have any flowers?" Takashi asked.

I arched a brow, "Uh... no... but I did saw some outside of the mansion, I'll help you get them. You guys can go rest early, c'mon Takashi." I gestured to him.

Everyone in the room nodded.

-outside the mansion-

I plucked some blossoms out of the tree and jumped back down.

"Here, why do you need them anyway hmm?~ someone special?" I teased as I arched a teasing brow at him with a smile.

"EH?- N-no! No one special! I-I gotta go!" Takashi stuttered with his face heating up. He walked off with the flowers in hand.

"Say hi to Kanao for me!~" I teased in an innocent tone as I waved him goodbye.

I saw him flinch and his body stiffen. I laughed when I saw his face heat up.

"DONT MAKE FUN OF MEEE!..." he wailed.
