Chap 46 [nightmare]

I opened my eyes to find myself in a very dark place, in the middle of nowhere. My sweat dropped, 'where am I?...' I thought to myself as I furrowed my brows worriedly.

I looked around and started to walk into the darkness slowly.

Suddenly I felt something pull me from the back and hold my hands behind me tightly, I grunted in pain, I tried moving but I was just paralysed.

I looked back forcefully and my eyes widened, "Muzan?!" I exclaimed suprised, "What have I told you about telling your friends y/n?..." he said in a very cold tone that echoed through the darkness.

Suddenly the darkness cleared, and my eyes widened in horror. Infront of me was Inosuke, Zenitsu, Takashi and his dog Shin, lying in their own pool of blood...

Zenitsu had a sword right through his chest while lying there motionless looking at you with lifeless eyes and blood oozing out of his mouth.

Inosuke had his head- cut off  and his head was lying right next to his body with dull eyes, his body was full of scratches and scars.

Takashi was lying in a very disfigured position, like his bones had been broken, blood was oozing out of his limbs with bones sticking out of them, even his head was bent in a very, very gruesome way...

His dog had many stab marks through its small body like it had been stabbed many times, even his eyes...

"NOOOOOO!!! WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM! YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE LOOKING BITCH!" I yelled while tears streamed down my face.

I couldn't move...

Then my vision blurred

Once it cleared out I saw Nezuko being killed right infront of Tanjiro while he was crying his eyes out for his sister, "STOPPPPP!!!" He yelled to Muzan, Tanjiro was tied up full of scars and bruises.

I tried walking and forcing myself to move so badly, but this strong force was pulling me back like a black hole. I was crying... I needed to help!

Then suddenly I felt the ground crack underneath me and I fell through it like I was being sucked through, I shut my eyes wanting all this to end. Then I hit the ground with a grunt, I looked up shakily and gasped in pure horror, I saw Tanjiro's head looking back at me while it was being held by Muzan.

"TANJIROO NOOOO!!! WHAT DID YOU DOOO?!? WHYYYY!" I cried out desperately forcing myself to move towards Tanjiro, I felt like my arms were going to break from the force pulling me back, "GO FUCKING ROT IN HELL YOU PEICE OF SHIT!" I screamed at him.

Muzan started to laugh like a maniac, "this is your fault to begin with..."

"NOO!" I yelled as I jumped out of my futon shaking, my forehead was covered with sweat and I felt my eyes water.

Then suddenly I felt something hug me, "Hey! Hey, shh... its okay... I'm here... you're safe okay?..." I heard Tanjiro's soothing voice cooed gently into my ears.

I was shaking so badly and I cried as I hugged him back tightly, I buried my face in his shoulders.

Tanjiro kept on saying that everything was okay while rubbing my back gently, "y/n, what's wrong?... did you have a nightmare?" He asked softly.

I whispered softly as my breathing slowed down a little and I nodded shakily, "y-you were... everyone w-was..." I choked out unable to get the words out of my mouth, "Hey... its okay... I'm here, it was all fake okay?..." he assured me.

I nodded shakily and let go of him slowly.

I saw that he was sitting next to my futon with a cloth and a bowl of water.

"Wh-who let you in?..." I choked out.

"Nezuko... she brought me to your room and you were breathing heavily and was sweating, and you were heating up a little... so I got this to help you cool down," he explained gently while showing the wet cloth, "How are you feeling?" He asked.

"Better..." I replied softly.

It was probably around 7am in the morning right now.

"You should rest y/n... today's our last day and tomorrow is our next mission..." he said worriedly, I smiled softly and nodded, "o-okay... thank you..." I thanked him as I laid back down.

He walked out of the room and looked back, "If you need anything don't hesitate to call me or the guys okay?... we will be training, take it easy..." he said with a closed eyed smile.

I nodded and drifted back to sleep, hoping that I won't get that dream again...
