3rd person POV
You finally got to rest after the final selection. You decided you want to give him something, like a gift of gratitude.
He has been there for you all the way and been your best friend for more than 3 years, so you thought it'll be nice to give him a little gift. A fun day of cooking (ik its stupid but idk wat else to put TvT)
Your POV
I saw Tanjiro reading a book under a tree and went up to him. "Tanjiro! Hello!" I greeted him cheerfully and sat next to him.
"Ahh! y/n, hello to you too!" He greeted back with a closed eye smile as he closed his book.
You guys sat there in comfortable silence admiring the scenery around you. "Soo I was thinking of cooking something new, like blueberry pie? do you want to help?" I asked.
His eyes lit up as he nodded.
3rd person POV
You guys spent the whole day baking and experimenting on new recipes. You laughed as he accidentally spilled to much flour into the bowl causing a huge powdery mess.
You guys were covered with flour at that point, he looked at you embarrassed as you laughed at his wobbly smile trying to mix the ingredients carefully.
Suddenly nezuko decided to join, she looked at the blueberries on the table and picked some up and threw them to the back of Tanjiro's head.
"Ack!" He exclaimed as he took a plate shielding him from nezuko as she threw the blueberries.
Mr urokudai sighed as he saw the scene unfold in his kitchen. You, laughing in delight as tanjiro hid behind you playfully as nezuko shoot the blueberries at you guys. He chuckled lightly, you guys were like his children to him.
You playfully took a bit of jam on your index finger and put some on Tanjiro's nose and he looked at you in surprise. You laughed as he pouted at you wiping the jam off his nose.
"You must be punished!" He said in a fake 'monster' voice as he raised both of his hands and tickled you. You laughed as tears started to form at the corner of your eyes.
Your POV
'I've never laughed like this in so long...' you thought to yourself as you laid in bed smiling after a fun day.
~in the middle of the night~
I shivered under the blanket as the wind blew through the window. I turned around facing tanjiro who was somehow still awake.
I looked at him and smiled trying to cover up that fact that I was cold, but tanjiro knew better, he smiled as he lifted up his blanket and patted on the empty space beside him, signalling for me to come over. (You guys were sleeping in different beds)
I blushed as I quietly sneaked over to him avoiding to wake nezuko and mr urokudai up.
I blushed as I snuggled up in the space he had made. Suddenly, I felt 2 strong warm arms wrap around my waist. I slowly turned around to face him and snuggled up in his chest, blushing.
'So warm... I can smell his scent to...' you thought to yourself as you drift of to sleep with him hugging you in a protective manner.
