12. You Guys Don't Have Plans?

Math class dragged on, with Michael, Calum, Luke, and I goofing off most of the time. My classes already passed and I found my self already getting out of my gym clothes changing into my regular clothes, and getting ready to head out for lunch. Another horrid day of volleyball, and thankfully I wasn't chosen to be a volunteer this time, and only got a few laughs here and there about the volleyball hitting my eye yesterday.

My eyes is fine now thankfully, that ice pack really helped. I pulled out my glasses and adjusted then until they rested on my face. Again I was the last one out, and I spotted Ashton waiting outside. "Hey Ashton!" "Hi Riley! You ready for lunch", he said excitedly. "Of course I am! Hey where's Luke at", I said looking around. "Oh he had to go to another class after PE to retake this test, he's probably going to catch up during lunch or something", he said while walking in the direction of the benches.

"Oh okay then." We both got our lunches and we sat at the usual ,Rejects Table where Calum and Michael already sat. "Hey guys what's up", I said. "Hey Riley", they both said in unison. "Where's Luke", questioned Calum. "Retaking a test or something", I said. "Oh okay", said Michael. We eating our food laughing about something that Ashton said, and a question popped up into my head. "Hey guys how come you can't hang out with Luke and I", I asked. "Wait what are you talking about", said Ashton with a confused expression. "Wait you don't have plans? Because Luke wanted to hang out with me, but said that you guys were busy?"

"He never invited us to anyth-" "Oh we have to do stuff...Um we have to help out Calum's sister", said Michael cutting off Ashton who was trying to say something. Michael nudged Calum with his elbow, "Yeah we have to um..we have to help my sister Mali with her car",said Calum quickly. "Yah her car....",said Ashton. "Okay, whatever you guys say", I said laughing at their awkwardness. "One sec, let me get some napkins for us",I said getting up walking over to the table that had napkins on them.

Ashton's P.O.V
As Riley got up, I took this as a chance to ask about what just happened. "Wait what plans? Mali's car seemed okay yesterday",I said scratching my head. "No Ashton. Mali's car is fine", said Calum. "Then where are we going?" "Oh Ashton, can't you see Luke's plan",said Michael shaking his head. "Is there something I don't know?"

"Ashton, remember when Luke called us last night after going to Riley's house",said Calum. "Yeah I remember", I said still confused. "Remember when he said he might like Riley? Well he probably invited her and said we have plans so they can get to know each other", said Calum quite obviously. "Ohhhhh I get it now! That is a clever plan, coming from Luke", I said finally understanding.

"Now don't blow his cover, Riley thinks we have plans for Mali's car", said Michael. "Okay okay got it. Next time tell me!" "Well we forgot to tell you he was going to make a plan because you hung up saying you were going to sleep yesterday", said Calum. "Well I guess now I shouldn't hang up next time", I said laughing.

We all saw Riley coming back and quickly engaged into a random conversation. "So that's why I wear bandanas", I said blurting out random words. "That's a nice conversation you guys are having there",said Riley laughing. She even doesn't suspect a thing, I thought smiling to myself.
