50. Thank You for Everything

Luke's P.O.V

I woke up with half my body hanging off the bed and half my body on the bed. Turns out Riley is a pusher and nearly pushed me off multiple times during the night. I pushed her slightly over to her side so I can get back up and sleep for a bit longer. I successfully got her to move about 6 cm, a little space, but enough for me. I closed my eyes for a little bit until I felt a hand smack into my chest. "Ow",I said winded. I looked to see that Riley was the one who smacked her hand onto my chest. She was still fast asleep, so it must've been a muscle spasm.

I grabbed her hand and intertwined our fingers. Even in her sleep she smiled a bit. She snuggled up next to my open arms. Even though I was so close to falling of the bed, this was nice. I smiled and held her closer. We stayed like like for I think about 15 minutes until I felt her moving around in my arms. I quickly moved my arms and acted like I wasn't hugging her a moment ago. "Luke",she asked groggily. "Yeah",I asked. "You think you're so sneaky",she said laughing,"You were just hugging me a second ago",she said accusing me. "W-what n-no...I AHHH",I yelled as I felt myself slip of the bed and fall to the ground with a thud.

"Ow",I groaned running my arm. I looked up to see Riley poke her head off the edge of the bed. "You okay",she said giggling rubbing her eyes from just waking up. "No",I whined. "Here let me help you up",she said extending her hand. She helped me up and I crawled back to the bed next to her. She took my arm and rested her head on it. "First you push me off the bed, then you use me as a pillow. Is this what friendship feels like",I asked. "Yes this is our friendship",she said smiling. "I like it then",I said smiling while closing my eyes. "I do too",she said playing with my fingers.

"Thank you Riley",I blurted out. "For what",she asked confused, staring at me with her hazel eyes. "Just everything really",I replied not even knowing why I said that to begin with. "You sure? I kinda scared everyone by passing out and had to be taken to the hospital, forgot nearly everything, all this in a span of not knowing you guys for more than a year",she said highlighting what's happened so far. "Don't say that, there's so many other great things that've happened since you came along",I said. "Like what",she question as she stopped fiddling with my fingers.

"Well, you've certainly been a great addition to our group, Lauren and Harry absolutely adore you, and my mum and my family loves you as well. But most importantly you've made such an impact on me. You taught me to not care about what others think. To not change for what anyone wants me to be but to change into someone I want to be. And for just being there for me when I need you all the time. No one has ever made a larger impact on me than you have Riley, so thank you",I said looking back at her.

"Thank you for that Luke. You and everyone else mean so much to me, and have helped me when I needed someone the most",she said burying her face into my penguin shirt that I still had in from yesterday. "Do you want breakfast",she mumbled. "Yes please",I said hugging her tightly. "I'd never want to lose you",I said honestly. "I hope you won't ever have too",she said back.

Hey everyone thank you all again so super much for reading this, sorry it doesn't have to much action or anything, this was just meant to be a filler.
