We lined up to get out food and again I was being stared at even more because 1. I was new, and what else, oh ya I also have a swollen eye. We grabbed our food which seemed pretty yummy to me and I glanced at the sea of kids already a filling up each table and chatting with their friends. "Where do you guys sit",I questioned as I saw most of the benches already being taken.

"We sit at the Rejects Table",said Luke. "The Rejects Table....what's that?" "Well it's this special table reserved just for the 4 of us, we'll now 5 of us now that you moved here", said Ashton. "Just stay away from those kids at the table over there, trust us they're no good",said Ashton shaking his head."Oh I see, well where is this special table?" "Over there",Ashton said pointing to a far away table by the exit, which already sat Michael and Calum. They led me over to the table and took there seats. I took the empty seat next to Calum.

"Hey Riley! What's up",said Calum. "Nothing much you know the usual, got hit with a volleyball in the eye." "That sounds painful", retorted Michael. "Yup it was painful but I'm fine now". "That's good, so how are you liking your first day here",asked Michael. "It's going great, considering you guys actually took me into your group. Back in Florida, I really didn't have much friends". "What? Are you kidding me, your great", said Ashton. "Thanks for your sympathy but I'm just awkward and weird.....and somehow people mistake it for being funny ", I said quite truthfully.

"Well you and Luke both",said Michael. "HEY I'm not weird, maybe a little awkward...but not weird", said Luke defending himself. "Whatever you say Luke, whatever you say", said Calum. I laughed as I watched them bicker with one another. I still don't understand why they are considered "rejects" per say. They are really nice people, and the people around us are really missing out. "So Riley where do you live",said Michael. "I barely know you, why would I tell you where I live", I said laughing. "Well I thought we were good friends already."

"I'm just playing with you. I live quite close to here, on 5th street." (This a totally made up street, I don't know if this is a real street in Australia) "Wow that's pretty close to this school." "Where do you guys live?" "Riley we barely know you, why would we tell you",said Luke in a serious voice. "Oh I'm sorry I just-" "No no I'm kidding". "We all don't live far away from your street we live around that area too". "That's cool",I said.

We munched on our food while still engaging in small talk. The bell suddenly rang to dismiss us from lunch, in other words telling us to get back to class already. "Well looks like we gotta go. Our last period isn't the same so after school do you guys want to meet up by Riley's locker",said Ashton speaking up. "Sure lets do that".

"What about my approval", I said laughing at the fact that they just made plans for themselves. "Oh can we",asked Calum. "Yah I don't see why you guys can't, by the way my locker is #377." "We're in the same hallway down so we'll meet you there",said Michael. "Okay guys, see you after school",I said getting up and throwing my leftover lunch away. I waved back at them, before heading to my last period.
