8| A month

Currently, Taehyung was in his room, confused and a total chaos, considering the city's villain is only a room farther from his own bedroom.

The blond kept pacing back and forth through the space of his room, thoughts running wild, the same as his emotions did. What does Bunny want here?

Certainly, the villain hasn't found out about Taehyung being Vante, because otherwise, they for sure would be fighting already.

But looking at the situation from another side- Bunny said he was interested in Taehyung. Bunny said Taehyung is someone special to him. Bunny likes Taehyung.

He doesn't know why and how the raven haired picked especially him, but the thought about the villain thinking about him like this still has his heart doing flips and butterflies erupting inside of him.

The person he likes seems to like him back.

Shaking his head, Taehyung felt his body shudder a little. He can't feel like this. He will have to fight Bunny again. He can't fall for him more than he already has.

A sigh left the blond's lips, as he tried to calm his mind down by taking deep breaths over and over again. Inhale, exhale. Should he just leave through the window and fly away? Away from his enemy, from his crush?

Taehyung scoffed at his own thoughts.

He had already thought to tell Jeongguk, his best friend, about it. But then again, he remembers also being a secret hero, and Bunny most certainly doesn't want any other parties but Taehyung to know about his stay here.

"Fuck it," Taehyung whispered to himself, unlocking the door and walking towards the living room, finding Bunny sitting on the couch, immersed in a series Taehyung was pretty familiar with.

He gasped. "Stop! Don't continue watching that, that's Gguk's favorite show and he isn't finished yet!" Taehyung grabbed the remote from the villain, who looked at him with a slight smirk, but then a small pout as Taehyung put the video on hold.

"How many episodes have you watched, I don't remember where he had stopped- dammit." Taehyung pouted, throwing the remote on the couch. "Hopefully he remembers," he frustratedly sighed to himself.

Bunny smiled at how adorable that just was. Gosh, he'd loved to continue watch his series though. Jeongguk was, as mentioned, not finished with it.

"Who's Gguk?" Bunny questioned. In some kinda way, Jeongguk needs to secure the secret.

Taehyung sat down next to the villain on the couch, grabbing a small cushion, which he hugged to his tummy.

"He's my best friend since we were kids," Jeongguk felt a tuck on his heart.

"How is he like?" Bunny questioned. Taehyung stared at him for a moment.

"You always seem so unbothered over anything, why am I interesting you?" he suddenly asked in a mumble, looking to his lap.

"I've never seen someone like you before- I know, while everyone sees me as the bad guy, you don't.." the villain explained and Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows.

Yeah, he is the bad guy, yet Taehyung can't see him as such- Maybe just as someone who likes to pull up pranks. But as the hero, shouldn't he exactly do that? See him as the bad guy? Treat him as the bad guy? Why does his heart have to choose Bunny? "How do you know so much? How long have you been around me?"

Well, always.

"A month," the dark clothed male lied, his orange eyes showing no sight of any nervousness. He was enjoying this.

"A month... okay. Shouldn't you then know who Jeonggukie is? He's always with me," Taehyung marked, calculating the situation.

"If you mean that dark haired, good-looking, attractive dude, then yes, then I do know him." Bunny smirked.

Taehyung hummed. "You won't hurt him right? Or me?"

Bunny sat up a little. "I could never hurt you... I can hurt him, but nah, that wouldn't be so cool." Literally.

This situation was hilarious.

"So... you are going to stay here? How long?" Taehyung shivered lightly at the idea of his enemy living with him. But on the other side, his crush is living with him too.

And the city is safe for a few days.

Taehyung tensed, feeling a soft touch on his cheek and looked up, realizing it was Bunny, with his leather gloved hand. "I'll stay for a time, we'll see how long, but during that time... I will try anything to win your heart as mine, the same way you won mine as yours."

Taehyung couldn't comprehend how Bunny began taking a liking at him and seems to know quite a lot about him. But at the same time he is excited.

Anyways, now, the blond was lying in his bed, two rooms away from Bunny, who was sleeping in the guest room. It's the first time someone else than Jeongguk sleeps there, considering Taehyung's other friends never spend the night over.

Taehyung shifted to the other side and once he did that... a smile formed onto his lips. "He... likes me?"

After all, Taehyung has fallen for his enemy. Vante would never admit it, but Taehyung can't hide it. It was causing his tummy to fill with butterflies, that continuously swirled through him, tickling his insides, making him feel all giddy.

"Fuck, why me?" he whispered, turning on his back looking up to the ceiling with a wide smile, his lungs suddenly getting tight as he tried to hold back his squealing.

Bunny liked him.

"Why, how, what the fuck..." Taehyung took his pillow clutching it against his tummy and hiding his face in it, now letting the already long enough held back squeals out.

It was hard to contain happiness, when the person you like turns out to like you back, though this is the biggest coincidence in Taehyung's life. How did Bunny fall for Taehyung? And what happens if he finds out that he is Vante?

But shouldn't Taehyung be able to enjoy the others presence now? After all this time he finally gets his attention, his full attention. He's the only one getting it and he realized, Kim Taehyung must be the boy Bunny always talked about. The only one that meant something to him.

Taehyung smiled, heart doing a tripple flip as he let the whole situation sink in.

Bunny likes him.

Damn.

And with these thoughts running through his head, Taehyung drifted off to sleep, knowing really well his crush is a few rooms away.

And Jeongguk fell asleep, knowing pretty well he was using his second identity in order to make his best friend fall for him.

Okay, well, technically, Taehyung likes Jeongguk. Since Bunny is Jeongguk... you know? But it still felt wrong in some parts, he was scared what could happen once the truth reaches the surface. but every other part in his body just desired to be in the older male's near, in a way Jeongguk could never be close to. Only Bunny could.

And that's really really close.
