Taehyung was pacing back and forth in his bathroom. It was late at night, but he didn't find a way to sleep, thoughts keeping him up. After what happened today, he felt so restless, so out of place.
Taehyung glanced to the mirror, sucking a deep breath in when he sees the red marks around his neck. Bunny did hold onto it quite firmly and it shocked Taehyung, since he had never expected the villain to lash out like this, to the point where he just choked him, threw him to the ground and left.
But thinking about it, Taehyung sees himself in fault. Always had he thought about listening to Bunny, he is sure this is the only thing that can heal the villain's heart from the pain that is engraved inside of it. He just needs love, someone to listen to him. And Taehyung? He made fun of it, called it ridiculous. He didn't try to understand Bunny.
"Fuck," Taehyung mumbled, when suddenly the doorbell rung. Sprinting to his room, he quickly put on a turtleneck sweater that covered up his neck and went to open the door, his breath getting knocked out of his lungs when he saw who was standing in front of him.
"B-Bunny?"
The villain said nothing, but instantly hugged Taehyung and the blonde boy felt like frozen on the spot, heart speeding up.
"Just... hold me please," Bunny whispered and Taehyung hesitantly hugged the dark clothed villain back. Guilt was literally eating him up alive.
It felt so wrong to hold him, he was the wrong person to do that. Bunny seems to be in pain and Taehyung is sure that it has something to do with what Vante had said to him on the rooftop.
"It's alright," he whispered, trying to calm the other male down.
A moment passed with Bunny not letting go, but when he did, he instantly cupped Taehyung's face in his hands. "You're the only person I trust, the only one who is sincere with me.." he whispered and Taehyung couldn't, but just stare up to the villain's with big eyes.
And Bunny? He was meaning these words both in the name of his villain being and his first identity as Jeon Jeongguk. Taehyung was always the only one.
Right now though, Taehyung was the cause of his pain.
"I-is everything alright? What happened?" He felt miserable for asking that, for generally being here with him, instead of someone else who could really help him.
"I just... I just needed this," he said and his breath fanned against Taehyung's cheek, letting a small shiver run down his spine.
"Come inside and calm down a little," the blonde said, slowly letting go of the hug, even though he didn't want to. Hugging Bunny felt so warm, so familiar, as if it wasn't their first time hugging.
Nodding, Bunny walked to the couch, sitting down. Taehyung did the same, after he got a glass of water for the villain.
"Have you seen the news?" Bunny questioned.
Taehyung halted, feeling a tug on his heart from the way his quiet voice asked him. "Y-yes I have."
The villain nodded, looking down to the glass in his hands. "I did that. I set that building on fire."
Taehyung took a shallow breath and nodded. "I-I know..."
The villain turned towards Taehyung, his hand reaching out to cup the older's cheek. "Am I... a bad person?"
Now, Taehyung really felt his heart fall and break and shatter and cry and... Vante had called Bunny that. A bad person. He wasn't meaning it though, Bunny has a past, he holds his grudges due to reasons and everyone does that. Does that make him a bad person, though? Yes, because he hurts people. But Taehyung knew, he wasn't someone bad, just someone with the lack of love and communication. He sees it himself everyday, experienced it during Bunny's stay here in his house.
