20| T-Tae?
"I waited for you, butterfly." Vante felt his heart pick up its pace the way it always does-always did- when the villain was around. It felt like years have passed ever since he stood in front of Bunny like this, even though it haven't been three days yet and he was unconscious too.
Vante's eyes wandered around the place, the whole rooftop being on fire around them.
He felt the back of his eyes beginning to sting because of the view of the villain like this, but NO, he can't show weakness now, he has to fight it.
"Y-you're not like this.." was all Taehyung's by the smoke dried throat could say.
"Are you blind?" Bunny retorted with an amused grin, stating that he indeed is like this.
"Bun... You're controlled by your powers, you need to see it! You are stronger than them!" he tried again, but Bunny only gave him another amused look, before laughing out loud.
"You know, butterfly, I never really hated, nor liked you. You were, how to say it, a way of wasting unnecessary time in a not so boring way. You cracked a lot of jokes and you're actually funny," Bunny's gaze darkened and the amused look left his features.
"But that joke wasn't funny."
A shudder ran down Vante's spine, curling its way through every body part of his.
"Actually, I'm thankful." Taehyung watched as Bunny sat down on the ground, surrounded by the fire. "You showed me the truth, opened my eyes. Everyone lied to me, but you... you were honest" He chuckled. Vante felt his knees buckling.
This wasn't Jeongguk, nor the Bunny he knew.
"Even the person I love lied to me. People like to tell you what they want you to hear, you know? I wanted to get convinced that I am not a bad person. I never wanted to be bad, although I loved being called the villain. Ironic." With a swift move, he got up again.
"And while everyone said what I wished to hear, you finally told me the truth. I am bad, I am a bad person, the villain," he laughed out and Vante took a deep breath, fighting his tears again. He has seen Jeongguk breaking down various of times, he would laugh as if everything was a joke, as if it didn't hurt him at all, pierced his heart.
"Bun.." Taehyung croaked out. Bunny looked up to him and smiled. "and since I am the bad guy here and you're the good guy, it would mean my job is to get rid of you." His smile was ever so sweet and ever so fake.
"You're not bad- Don't do this, your powers control-
"Lies," he growled. "I always was bad. Not only was I bad to the world! My family, school, even my best friend! My love! I broke his heart thousand of times, hurt him by ignoring him, or leaving him. Of course... I always had been the bad guy.." His voice saddened and Vante took a few steps closer, but froze when Bunny began laughing again. Psychotically.
"This is not a fairytale," he laughed. "so that means, the hero doesn't necessarily win." he stepped closer to Vante, the hero's breath hitching when there was only little space between them left. "What are y-you gonna do then?"
"You tell me. .." Bunny tilted his head. "what does a villain do to his enemy."
Kill him. But Bunny would never do that.
His powers maybe will.
"Exactly what you're thinking of, butterfly. Your death came sooner than you expected right?"
Vante froze, when Bunny closed his hand around his throat, once again. He grabbed onto the villain's wrist. "S-Stop!"
Bunny chuckled. "Someday, this was supposed to happen."
