15| About yesterday

Taehyung used a towel to dry his hair as he walked over to the kitchen, not being surprised at all when he found Bunny standing at the stove, making breakfast. A sigh left his lips as he sat down on a chair and leaned against the table.

"Finished showering?" Bunny asked and Taehyung tried to hold himself back from making a sarcastic remark about how obvious it is that he finished and just hummed as a response. He watched the villain from behind, feeling suffocated as he thought about the day prior. He loved kissing Bunny, don't get him wrong, but the thought about what the future might hold scares him.

At some point he has to fight against him again, he has to protect Seoul and he can't let his guard down.

"Hey... about yesterday.. the kiss?" Taehyung began hesitantly, nervousness running through him, making it hard for him to keep his thoughts orderly.

Bunny finally turned around and faced Taehyung with a worried crease in his brows. "You... didn't like it?"

Taehyung bit his lip, looking down. "That's not it, I loved it, but.. I don't think what we have will work. It feels wrong." It is wrong.

Bunny felt his chest tightening and he scoffed lightly. "Because I'm the villain?"

Hesitantly, Taehyung nodded. "You're the villain, you have superpowers, you... you hurt people and I'm..." he can't say that he is Vante, "We don't... we come from different worlds."

Bunny walked towards Taehyung softly placing a hand on his cheek. "Don't say that... i-it's not wrong. you're the most important person to me."

Taehyung pulled his face away, heart aching by the pained look in the other's face. "And how's that? How did I become that person, you don't even really know me. You followed me around and watched me without me knowing and then just so randomly stood in front of my house, asking for allowance to court me? Make it make sense. It's confusing me..."

Bunny looked away, knowing really well that what Taehyung said is true. How ridiculous for him to think this would work anyway. The moment Taehyung finds out that Bunny is Jeongguk, his best friend, everything would crumble together.

"So... you... don't want me?"

Taehyung chewed on his lip. "I-it's not that... I just don't think this will work out. You're the villain and I'm just a normal citizen-

"But-

"And you hurt people like me. All the people you hurt were also just citizens... innocent people who don't deserve what you did to them." He knew this will hurt Bunny, but he had to do this.

The villain's jaw tightened. "Do you think I'm a bad person?"

Taehyung's heart did a jump by the question he had answered just days ago with a clear 'no'. Yet now, after yesterday's events, after getting almost choked to death by Bunny, he saw the things different.

"Listen. We all go through some stuff in our lives, we get hurt, disappointed and angry, but that doesn't give anyone the right to hurt innocent people. I know there's so much pain engraved inside of you and you just want to release it, but hurting people who did nothing to you won't make you feel better. You are just making people suffer for nothing. They are innocent! If you.. if you continue like this, then yes. Then you are a bad person, Bunny." Taehyung took a deep breath after speaking out the villain's name.

The dark haired stared at Taehyung with wide, unbelieving eyes. From all the people he knows, Taehyung was the last one he expected to lash out on him like this. The person he had always loved so much, the person who he considers family just broke his heart.

"So that's how it is, hmm?" Bunny grabbed Taehyung's wrist, tightly, making Taehyung gasp as his eyes widened. "Let go!"

He tried to pull his arm away, but the villain wouldn't let go, only tightened his grip, painfully squeezing Taehyung's arm. "i-it hurts, pl-please.."

Orange orbs that seemed like lightening up in fire glared down at the blonde boy. He could literally feel Bunny's anger, his frustration as the fire seemed to run through his whole body. "Hurts? Oh, you're in pain?" Again, he just tightened his hold, mind running wild.

Taehyung looked into his eyes, that didn't look like the ones he fell for at all. This was a complete different person. "B-Bunny, that's not you, s-stop!" He used his other hand to form a fist and hit the villain again-trying, as if that would do something.

"Was it all a game for you! Why did you tell me I'm a good person in the beginning then?!" the villain spat, eyes focused on the squirming male in his hold. "Why did you let me kiss you?"

Tears formed in Taehyung's eyes, the pain numbing his whole arm. "P-please stop.."

Bunny's jaw tightened and Taehyung gasped when he could see literal flames in the ravenette's eyes. He cried out when the pain intensified, and he looked to his hand that felt like burning. Maybe because it literally was, Bunny's hand suddenly being indescribably hot.

"L-let go, that hurts!" the tears wouldn't stop by now and he felt his whole body give in when Bunny finally let go of his wrist. Taehyung fell to his knees, clasping his hurting wrist in his other hand.

With tears in his eyes, he looked up to Bunny, whose eyes were back to normal, but a cold look graced his features, as he did nothing but watch Taehyung cry.

"And I thought you were different from them.."

Taehyung's view became blurry as he tried to bring something over his lips, but all that left him was a choked out sob, before his view became darker and he felt his body completely give in.

"Fuck, is that him?"

"He's passed out? C'mere, help me carry him."

"We need to bring him to the headquarters."

"Good that he's so light."

"And he's pretty too."

"Shut up, Jimin!"

"Guys, h-his wrist."

"Shit."
