"Open your mouth," Jeongguk ordered, holding up a dumpling for Taehyung with his chopsticks. Taehyung did as instructed, letting Jeongguk place the delicious food into his mouth.

"Tastes heavenly, you're a great cook." Taehyung held a proud thumb up and Jeongguk smiled awkwardly remembering what had happened in the morning. He didn't know how to use the oven and stove, so he used his fire powers to bake the food. It worked tho.

"There's nothing I'm not good at."

"Sure, sure. You're the best in everything." Taehyung rolled his eyes, Jeongguk smiled.

Actually, the two were the complete opposites in the eyes of others, but having known each other for their entire life, they act and think like one person.

For others, Jeongguk is the boy everyone knows, due to his incredible handsomeness and cold character. At least once, everyone had a crush on him, though he doesn't acknowledge any of them and talks to no one.

He hates people.

Kim Taehyung being the only exception.

Taehyung on the other hand is the boy everyone is jealous of for being literally perfect. He's handsome, has good grades, is one of the nicest persons at school and..

He's the only one Jeon Jeongguk talks to.

People envy them, even though they do nothing and just proceed with their lives. They aren't aware of the constant stares that they get and don't come across the rumors around them.

Finishing their food, Jeongguk packed the lunch box back into his backpack, then put it behind him, so he can lie down and place his head on the bag. Taehyung looked at him for a moment and then back over the edge of the building, seeing cars pass by, some people walking their dogs and others waiting to pass the streets. The rooftop of the school wasn't a high place, therefore there wasn't a phenomenal view, as Taehyung had experienced yesterday on the rooftop of the other building.

He sighed lightly, remembering bickering around with the villain.

"You good, bear?" Jeongguk questioned, as he pulled a cigarette packet out of his jacket pocket and a lighter with which he lit it up.

Taehyung is already used to jeongguk smoking, There was a phase of the younger where he thought there was no one to help him anymore and he began drinking and smoking by the age of roughly seventeen.

It was surprisingly easy for him to let go of the alcohol, as for smoking, he willingly didn't stop, as it just calms him. He doesn't smoke a lot per day though, the highest he does being two to three cigarettes.

Even though Taehyung is used to it by now, it always reminds him on that time. Not only was it the worst time for Jeongguk, but also for him too, as he saw his best friend breaking and changing.

It was simple to describe what happened.

Jeongguk couldn't follow his parents' expectations and they stopped caring for him. The persons most dear to him, left him.

These people left him. It just broke him, until he took the first way to get rid of the suffocating feelings and pain- drinking and smoking. Simple as that.

Due to them leaving him during that time, he lost his trust in everyone and believed that no one who is showing him any kind of affection was being serious and wouldn't hurt him in the end.
