18| Powers

Taehyung gawked around the room as he followed RM, the 'mastermind', to the main central. He instantly noticed how dark the room was and how there were displays on all walls, underneath them a pult with various of buttons to control them.

Then his eyes landed on four other males, three he could identify as Seokjin, Hoseok and Jimin that he had met earlier and one that he hasn't seen before, but thought must be the so called Yoongi, aka Suga.

Seokjin was the first one to get up from his seat and approached them. "Have you seen.." he didn't end his question, but of course Taehyung instantly knew what he was talking about and nodded. "I have and we need to stop him. I-I mean his powers." Taehyung looked around the room and saw everyone being in thoughts.

There was a short silence, which got interrupted by Yoongi shortly. "As you maybe noticed, there's a reason why Bunny and you were the only ones to not get involved with this place and our real purposes. It's your job to fight him not ours."

Taehyung felt a shiver ran down his spine by the cold voice of him.

Hoseok hit Yoongi's head and told him to shut up, but before Hoseok could apologize to Taehyung on Yoongi's behalf, the blond beat him to that. "I guessed so. There is a reason why we two were picked out of us seven. It's that he never recovered from what happened in the past and I never noticed even though I was with him this whole time. He is my best friend but also... my first love and I already guessed that I should be the one to talk to him, to maybe even fight him if it's necessary." Taehyung mumbled, voice getting quieter to the end. He doesn't know if he'll be able to fight him though.

Yoongi scoffed. "I still don't understand why y'all brought Vante here. We have nothing to do with what happens with Bunny, you're the hero assigned to him and he's the villain you have to fight."

Slight anger building up in him, Taehyung looked up to Yoongi, whose silver hair almost covered his eyes. "Yes, he is the villain-

"Oh, you're right. You are fully aware that he is the villain, someone who does bad things and hurts people, even hurt you, yet still... You gave in to the feelings he caused inside of you, no?" Yoongi raised an eyebrow and Taehyung sucked a deep breath in.

"How can we support someone who lets his guard down because of something so pathetic
as love? It's all his fucking fault anyways!"

"Yoongi!" Jimin hissed, hurt glint appearing in his eyes. Everyone was glaring at Yoongi

Everyone but Taehyung.
"You're right. I am dumb for giving into these feelings and yes, it is all my fault because I didn't realize he was still hurting and then hurt him even more by calling him a bad person. But, he isn't just the villain I am in love with, he is Jeon Jeongguk, my family and I can promise you, he wouldn't do something like that in all his free wills. It's the powers-

"He hated people ever since his parents did that to him. Why are you so certain he's not doing all this by himself?" Yoongi once again interrupted him.

Taehyung's jaw tightened, he had enough of Yoongi. "I really don't know what your problem with me is and all I care about right now is finding a way how we can save the people in Seoul and also him from his own powers."

"We maybe have to take his powers away if that's necessary," Namjoon mumbled, catching everyone's attention.

"What, how will you do that?" Hoseok questioned, as they all watched Namjoon turn to one of the many glass cupboards on the left side of the room, that displayed various uncommon things that Taehyung had never seen before. The tall male pulled a silver globe that had a brightly shining purple knob on the side out of the cupboard and held it up so that everyone could see it.

"What is that, Joon? I thought this was just some exhibit-

"Yeah, that's what I've told you about all of these things here," Namjoon interrupted Seokjin. "The truth is that it was my task to protect these and not tell anybody about their use and power and this baby here," he pointed to the globe in his hand with a smirk, "can take someone's powers."

"What?" Seokjin asked unbelievably. "That's possible?" Jimin then questioned, while Taehyung just stared at it.

"You say we can take Gguk's powers with it?" It was a strange feeling to say Jeongguk's nickname plus the word powers in one sentence, but Taehyung accepted the truth.

"Yeah. I was told that someday we are going to need this more than anything. I think that day is coming soon. If we get close enough to Bunny and point this at him, his powers will get absorbed," Namjoon informed.

Taehyung bit his lip, heart aching by the thought that the person he loves will have to make such a huge sacrifice. These powers were special, all seven of them were gifted with them and they all cherish them. And Taehyung knows how much Bunny loves his powers.

But he has to save him, before the powers take more control over him than they already have. He took a deep breath. "That will work. I'll do it, but I really do need your help. I... beg you." He especially looked at Yoongi, who stared back expressionlessly.

But as much as he tried to hold it, Taehyung's big, desperate eyes eventually succeeded in making him give in. "Fine."

"This is calling for some action," Hoseok squealed excitedly and all others smiled too. "Vante, I'm giving you the lead now, what do we have to do?" Namjoon said, placing his hand on Taehyung's shoulder.

Taehyung nodded and glanced to the fade black B on his wrist. "Well, since I still can't use my powers, I think...
