29| Lights and Diamonds

two months later

Turning the key in the key hole of the entrance door, Jeongguk unlocked it and entered with a bright smile, awaiting his boyfriend to wait inside for him. But once he entered, there was no blond running into his arms like every time he comes home.

"Tae?" He called out, as he walked through the living room and kitchen. Once he finally reached the bedroom, he heard a deep screeching sound. He frowned and opened the door, only to find an over energetic Taehyung... rearranging their bedroom?

He didn't even notice that Jeongguk was there, as he teleported back and forth to every angle but wasn't able to move the closet as it was to heavy for him.

"Baby?" Jeongguk called again, finally catching his boyfriend's attention. Taehyung smiled brightly as he stopped what he was doing and ran into Jeongguk's arms. "Hey, Gguk!"

The younger chuckled as he looked down to the slightly smaller male with tousled hair and red cheeks due to moving heavy furnitures. Jeongguk smoothed out his hair and gave him a soft forehead kiss. "What are you doing?"

With their arms still wrapped around each other, Taehyung explained his plan. "Since you had this dentist appointment, I got bored and this bedroom has looked the same ever since I moved here, so I thought I could change it a little."

Jeongguk looked around the room. He could picture the way Taehyung envisioned it to look like, but some things, like the closet, were still not standing on their supposed places, guessing they were to heavy to move for Taehyung. "It looks nice."

"How was your appointment? What did doctor Jang say?" Taehyung asked as he lifted his hand to stick his thumb between Jeongguk's lips to pull his bottom lip down and reveal his teeth to examine them. Jeongguk laughed as he pushed Taehyung's hand away. "Stop that," he said while Taehyung pouted.

"Everything's fine, it was just a control anyways."

Okay, here the truth. Doctor Jang really exists, he is Taehyung's dentist too and Jeongguk and him both know him really well. But the thing is, Jeongguk had no appointment today.

"Do you need help with the rearrangement?" He asked gesturing to the half finished new arranged room.

Taehyung nodded. "Can you help me with the closet? Also, do you think moving the desk next to the drawer would look good?"

Jeongguk once again looked around. "How about we put the desk next to the closet and the drawer next to the door?"

"That would also look nice," Taehyung agreed. The two continued to style the room new, when an idea crossed Jeongguk's mind, a smile
forming on his lips.

"Should we go shopping for new decorations?"

Taehyung's face lit up and he nodded eagerly, kissing Jeongguk's cheek. "That's a great idea."

"Can we get this?" Taehyung asked pointing at a flower pot with fake peonies.

Jeongguk just nodded. This is how it's been going ever since they entered the shop. And it made Jeongguk feel some type of way. "When we were younger, I was the one to always ask you if it's okay to buy something."
