It's the next day and the two were back at Taehyung's house. Namjoon and the other heroes wanted to talk to Jeongguk, but the moment they mentioned a punishment for Jeongguk, Taehyung almost freaked out. He couldn't understand how they could do this to someone who just woke up from coma.

It aggravated the blond a little, because Jeongguk wasn't at fault when the powers took over him, which is why he started arguing with the heroes, who then agreed to let Jeongguk rest a while longer, before proceeding with giving him his- quote "deserved"- punishment.

And Taehyung being Taehyung, hated how they didn't decline the punishment at all, only pushed it to another day. Their reasoning was of course that Jeongguk wasn't always possessed and that it only happened by the end.

It was something Taehyung couldn't deny, but factually, Suga literally said before they saved Jeongguk, that they had nothing to do with him and that Bunny was VANTE's matter. That argument made the heroes scowl at Yoongi, who only shrugged, because it meant and clearly stated that Taehyung was the one to give Jeongguk a punishment for his doing, if needed.

Then happened RM. With his super brain and unfiltered mouth, he stated fact after fact why Bunny needs a punishment and why Vante won't be the one to decide it. Yeah, strongest argument was of course their love.

Taehyung got totally pissed because of this and only stormed out of the room. He went to the room Jeongguk was resting in and told him that they were leaving.

And that's how they ended up in Taehyung's house.

Everything happened abrupt for Jeongguk and while sitting on the couch and having Taehyung curled up against his side, he wondered why he was even here. He was sure the heroes didn't want him gone. Not too mention, he heard Taehyung's angry shouts.

"Tae?"

"Yes?"

"Why are we here? I don't believe they'd let me go like this," he spoke his thoughts out and Taehyung hesitated before smiling up to him.

"I told them you need a break. Some normality. They let it slide, but still want to talk with you after some time," the blond responded truthfully, with a little cut on the details.

Jeongguk absently nodded. "I heard you shout at them though. You don't have to defend me-

"I do. Because you don't deserve any harm happening to you. They already took your powers, which is enough of a punishment. You were punished your whole life over, I can't let anything happen to you."

Speechless, Jeongguk sat up a little, Taehyung doing the same. "I don't deserve you," whispered the ravenette, but Taehyung quickly shook his head.

"Don't say that. You deserve me and every ounce of happiness in this world, Gguk."

"I love you." Although they kind off confessed their love already due to the situation, it was the first time it hit Taehyung right in his heart.

He smiled, reaching his hand out to brush some of Jeongguk's hair back. "I love you too, bun."

And that's where Jeongguk finally broke the distance between them, sealing his lips with Taehyung's. The older instantly gave in, kissing Jeongguk back with the same force the other uses, the same desperation, same desire and love.

The ravenette softly pushed Taehyung, not breaking the kiss when Taehyung's back hit the couch, Jeongguk now on top of him, his hands on either side next to Taehyung.

A soft sound left Taehyung, when Jeongguk's tongue swiped passed his lips, their tongues brushing. Their hearts were totally acting up, this weird feeling they ever only heard about forming inside of them.
