12| Bad person
"See you tomorrow Gguk, thank you for bringing me home," Taehyung says and hugged the younger male, before leaving the car. "See you. Take care, bub."
"You too, bubba." they smiled at each other a last time, before the blond was already gone inside his house. And the first thing he did was search for a certain villain, who didn't seem to be home though.
Taehyung sighed relieved, but then again wondered why he wasn't there, when he was so determined to stay. Maybe Taehyung had hoped that he was home, but he wouldn't admit it, of course.
Still, he just can't help, but long for his enemy. He loves his presence and he doesn't mind this pushy side of him, rather adores the attention he is giving him. But at some point Taehyung has to fight against him again.
And that point didn't seem too be that far, when Taehyung turned the television on and immediately sees the news of a nearby fire in his town. Eyes widening and a curse coming past his lips, he instantly turns the TV back off and gets his mask, sprinting out of his house.
He hid behind his garage and put his mask on, knowing that in a blink of an eye, he wasn't able to be recognized as Kim Taehyung anymore, but as Vante.
Losing no time, Taehyung doesn't hesitate to fly up and towards the building he remembers being on fire. From far away, he was already able to see the dark cloud painting the colourful sky, since the sun was setting, in a black to grey dust.
Heart beating wild in fear that he was too late, he speeded up towards that high building, seeing people gathered in front of it, the fear obvious in their eyes and the way they were trying to cover themselves.
Taehyung lands in between them and instantly all eyes went to him. "Is someone missing? Is everyone outside?!" he asks loudly and felt relieved when no one gave him an answer, but everyone just looked around.
"Thank go-
"My boyfriend! He's still inside there," a young, crying girl reached Vante and his heart dropped. He takes the girl in his arms. "Which floor? Do you know where he might be?"
The girl was obviously trembling, tears straining her cute red cheeks, as she feared for her boyfriend's life. "I-I'm n-not sure but floor 3, the room right to the elevator."
Vante nodded. "Don't worry, I'll save him, yeah?" He reassured.
The girl sniffed lightly, but managed to nod, before Vante was already up in the air again aiming the third floor. He gets met with a too familiar view when he flew through a window. The full inside of the building was set in flames, the firefighters now also arrived and tried to still the fire on the first floor.
"Hello, is here anyone?!" Taehyung shouted when he entered the room on the right next to the elevator, just like the girl had described it. "H-here!" Vante widens his eyes when he could figure out the form of a young dark haired boy from where he stood. "Okay, I see you! Don't move and stay calm, try to cover your mouth with your shirt and don't breath in too much dust," Taehyung instructed in a calm manner, knowing it would trigger the boy if he shows his own panic.
The boy followed Vante's instructions and it wasn't long until the hero had teleported himself right in front of the boy, past fire and burning furnitures. "Take my hand," he said and felt the boy grab his hand and it was just a second that had passed and Vante teleported himself and the boy outside the burning building.
The boy coughed lightly and fell to the ground, when already parademics and his girlfriend ran towards him. The girl genuinely thanked Vante for saving her boyfriend, who seemed almost passed out.
Vante sighs seeing the boy in this state, knowing Bunny was the cause of this. He thought he would come home and meet Bunny on his couch, with his cocky smile, anf maybe they would have made dinner together and eaten- he didn't think he would end up having to fight a fire.
An hour passed of Vante helping the firefighters with the fire, until every flame was off and everyone finally relaxed. Besides Vante, who didn't wait long to fly up to the rooftop of previously burned building, finding his enemy lying on his back, with his arms resting under his head.
"You were almost too late today, butterfly," the dark haired villain mocked and Vante felt slight anger ran through his veins. Taehyung had expected to find the male at his home, not hear of him burning down a house
"You're an asshole," he spitted out and Bunny looked up surprised by the blond's tone. "That's new."
Vante didn't hesitate and took fast strides towards the villain, who by now was in his feet again and punched him on the jaw.
"Ow- what the fuck!" he hissed, holding his jaw. "It's not dark yet, so why the fuck were you here!" It just frustrates Vante that Bunny did it so unexpected and right out of the blue. he was so unprepared, since he thought the villain would be home with him. It frustrates him and honestly just angers him. He could cry.
"You're such an asshole," he repeated, about to land another punch at the villain, who grabbed his arm though, stopping him. "Did you wake up with the wrong foot? Geez, why so aggressive?"
Vante pulled his arm away, gritting his teeth. "I hate you! Someone almost died!"
Bunny clicked his tongue. "But you saved that person, didn't you?" He slightly tilted his head, a small teasing smile resting on his lips.
"I did. I saved everyone who your doing was about to hurt! I have to fucking fix everything you do! You shouldn't be surprised that everyone hates you!"
Bunny's chest tightened, but he can't show any weakness. He took a step forward, looking directly into Vante's eyes. "Everyone hates me and it has always been like that! Wether it's me as a villain- or also me as myself, they're all selfish pricks! And people have to see how it is to loose everything! What they loose isn't even half of what I had!"
Vante blinked, surprised by Bunny's outburst. "This is ridiculous, why should people suffer, just because you have! They're innocent and you give them trauma. You're not any better than the people who hurt you!"
Bunny's eyes darkened by that and he took another step towards the hero, until they were face to face. Vante's breath hitched as he stares into those orange orbs. "You don't know me, you know nothing about me! So don't try to compare me with anyone!"
Vante scoffed. "Do I need to know you, to be sure that you're a bad person?" he asked calmly and bunny's jaw tightened.
"I might be the villain, but I'm not a bad person."
That's what Taehyung has been so sure of this whole time, but now, he has his doubts forming inside of him. "It's hard to believe that."
Suddenly Bunny did something Vante never in his life expected him to do, but he got hit with reality when he felt Bunny's hand around his neck and him choking him.
Vante's eyes were wide, when he grabbed around Bunny's hand, trying to pry it off. "S-stop," Bunny only tightened his hold though.
"Why so surprised? Didn't you expect a bad person to do something like this, butterfly?" Vante has never seen the villains eyes looking like this, literally burning. "If you so badly want to see me as a bad person, I'm gonna act like one."
"L-let go," Taehyung struggled to form the words, he felt his breath shortening and his body weakening. Everything around him suddenly became blurry, but before he passed out, Bunny let go of his neck and pushed him to the ground. He immediately began coughing, taking in deep, long breaths as he tried to get up from the floor, but his shaking body wouldn't let him. He looked up and realized that the villain was already gone.
This whole situation felt so surreal, as if Taehyung just woke up from a bad dream.
But sadly, this was reality.
And maybe Taehyung has to see, the villain is evil.
