"Each one contributes according to what he proposed in his heart; not with sadness or with embarrassment; because God loves what he gives with joy."
1 Corinthians 9: 7
This verse is often used when making tithes and offerings in services. But this verse shows us much more than that. Yes, we need to give as it is in our hearts. We will harvest according to our planting. (1 Corinthians 9: 6)
But this is much more than just money. He who plants a life of intimacy with the Lord will have a harvest of blessings without measure on his life. (Deuteronomy 28: 1-14)
What did you propose to the Lord? He's looking at your heart right now. (1 Samuel 16: 7) If you have proposed something, do it with joy, and prepare yourself for what the Lord is going to do in your life! If you proposed to have a life of intimacy with Him, and you are doing it with joy, my brother and sister, prepare yourself that your life will never be the same!
