"But just as we were approved by God so that the gospel could be entrusted to us, so we speak, not to please men, but to God, who tests our hearts."
1 Thessalonians 2: 4
Preaching the gospel means preaching the "good news", that is, good news. Jesus died on the cross and when he was resurrected he brought us the good news, which is salvation. The duty to preach the gospel is a responsibility of the church. (Mark 16:15) It was no accident that we were destined to preach the gospel. The Lord has entrusted the gospel to us. Look how strong! He has such confidence in his children that he left this task to them. (1 Thessalonians 2: 4)
Only the church can preach this good news, because Jesus died for it. When Jesus overcame death, we were automatically filled with the entire fullness of the Father! (Ephesians 3: 17-19) The experiences we have with the Lord, no one can have, which is why we have been given the confidence of the gospel.
God bless you!
